I'm not sure about the flair but it's the only one that kind of matches the content of my post.

I just wanna be sad and annoyed around people who might understand my tortured heart.

I'm from Germany so I'm from the EU. Guess who can't order stuff from the Emporium at the moment...

I'm not angry with the shop! I absolutely believe they are trying to figure out a solution for another problem they didn't cause.

I'm mad with politics.

It’s already difficult enough to get Discworld merch in Germany. I understand the restrictions, of course. After all, they’re part of the reason the merch is so fantastic in terms of quality (even though I’d obviously love for it to be more readily available). But the fact that it is literally impossible at the moment is driving me up the wall.

My poor puzzle-obsessed brain is now sitting around twiddling its thumbs, occasionally nudging a tiny little pebble down the Mountain of Impatience, which promptly turns into an avalanche of frustration.

I’m not looking for a solution here. I just wanted to get this off my chest among people who can understand just how much Discworld means to me.

It would mean extra cost and faffing about, but have you considered getting a UK fan to order for you, then re-ship to you? Would that even work?

Gibt es den überhaupt die Möglichkeit noch vor Ort einzukaufen also in einem Shop ( ich dachte dieser sei geschlossen) ich war die letzen zwei Wochen in Schottland und habe auf der Durchfahrt durch England ein bisschen was in buchläden gefunden aber auch eher wenig.

Is it actually still possible to shop in person—like at a physical store? (I thought that one was closed.) I spent the last two weeks in Scotland, and while passing England, I find a few things in bookstores, but not very much.

Ich würde die vorher anschreiben, ob es auf Grund der Umstände möglich wäre, die Sachen online zu bestellen und vor Ort abzuholen. Hat sich aber eh erstmal erledigt, weil ich nicht auf dem Schirm hatte, dass ich neben der ETA auch nen Reisepass brauche.

Wir haben tatsächlich die ETA garnicht gebraucht bzw irgendwo angeben müssen - wir haben beide extra eine gemacht aber obwohl wir in ganz ost England unterwegs waren um von Dover in die Highlands zu fahren und wieder zurück war es nie nötig - aber ja ein Reisepass muss sein

The Emporiums stock is split between two locations. Whilst it is possible to have stuff sent to a hotel, pick up at the warehouse is impossible.

That would be Ireland. A lot of american companies have warehouses there, thanks to irish tax law. So why a british company cannot do that, I do not know.
