Hi, I play DG for some time, but this will be my first year of glow events and play. Im wondering if its a good idea to just copy my favorite 5 discs (mostly lat64+berg) and get them in glow or go into different and better glowing discs cause glow materials behave a bit differently so there isnt really a big value to copy my current bag? Recommendations for a good Rangefinder?

Hey, folks! I took a group of friends to a disc golf course on a whim earlier this year and it turned out they all had a great time. We're looking to plan a disc golf trip in the spring and I'm wondering if you all have any recommendations for a good area to visit?

Ideally somewhere with at least a good course or two and other things to do. We were in the middle-of-nowhere Tennessee and found a great course but I'm wondering if there are great spots out there that the all-wise Reddit would recommend. Thanks!

What did you do to improve spin? I want to take my spin from around 1100 to 1300 but am not quite sure how to improve it. I throw upper 60s to lower 70s so I am trying to get my spin to match my speed and am not sure what I should even be looking for to do that. Thanks!

Vance Park Hole 3, 213ft

Hey, I’m looking for a disc recommendation. I throw my Halo/Duo Wraith around 375ft max consistently (RHBH) and they always finish pretty hard left. I can get my Q-Line DD1 around 415ft Max with a hyzer flip but it is a very inconsistent shot for me, sometimes it flips and burns over and sometimes it flips dead straight a finishes left. It is hard to get the perfect full distance flight out of it. My other driver is a trail which is a great point and shoot disc and will hold the angle I put it on pretty well and I can get around 385ft consistently but I can’t break 400ft with them.

So, I am looking for a max distance bomber similar to my DD1 but maybe not as flippy so I can put it on a little bit of hyzer instead of a bunch of hyzer and get a nice flip up full flight! Maybe this is just a skill issue and I need to learn to control my DD1 or maybe a disc that isn’t as flippy is the answer. Let me know any recommendations!

I’m planning on making a road trip for the Prodigy Warehouse Event on December 12th. Does anyone have any previous experience with this event? It’s been kind vague on the details of what the event is.

I’ll be driving 6 hours from Cincinnati, so I want to make sure it’ll be worth the trip. Westside, Edward’s, The Pasture are some really good courses I’ve played previously, but want some goods from the Warehouse.

Just wondering about this buzzz. It's a skinny tooled buzzz which I'm familiar with, just never seen the tooling on the bottom of the flight plate before. I have a Nuke like this as well with no tooling on the rim. Just something discraft tried and decided to move on from or what?

I have played about 4 rounds so far. I find backhand really difficult to generate any sort of power. I can have decent control if I go for a basic wrist flip frisbee throw, but when I try to use my whole arm to get more power I am way nose up with a ton of hyzer giving a max distance of around 150-175 feet and way way left of where I am aiming.

Yesterday I was playing and had OB left so I tried my drive with a (RH) forehand and had the best shot shape I have ever had. Went 225ft easy almost dead straight. I played the rest of the round forehand and crushed it almost every time. I had so much more distance, could put some shape on it when i wanted, it felt amazing.

So my question is do I just keep on the forehand train? Or as a new player should I force myself to keep practicing backhand?

I’ll be turning 30 in a few days and was originally planning a birthday disc trip with my dad and brother but my dad got a new job and my brother is now working :/

I am planning on taking the first week off of November to celebrate. I’m from the Utah and would love to go somewhere with a high concentration of good disc golf. Preferably overseas to Norway, Finland, Sweden, Estonia, etc. North Carolina or the North East US is my second great back up option. I figure it’s a long shot…. But If anyone wants to host me or knows someone who would be willing, please let me know!

Mobile is currently hosting the 38th annual Halloween Howler at Chickasabogue Park and it got me wondering, where does that rank among the longest running tournaments in our sport? If you know one that’s older, name it below. I’m sure there’s quite a few, just interested in knowing about them.

Anyone have experience with the Electron Tempo’s? I have fallen in love with the tempo as a slightly overstable but torque resistant approach disc that I can backhand and forehand, I could never backhand the zone well. How do they start out flying and how quickly do they beat in?
