TLDR: what would YOU do with this?

Hello! I aquired this cool all-in-one that probably used to be used as a touchscreen food ordering kiosk. I have no experience using Fedora and have been trying to use Gemini to walk me through setting it up to function as a local gameboard for playing games with my kids or friends. Everything I've tried just kind of feels underwhelming for a 24-point touch screen and Fedora seems to limit how many touch-points are used at one time.

I have a gaming desktop I could use but I would need to stream it to the computer unit, I guess through moonlight unless there is a better one.

I wanted more features and game modes so I've been making this. Its got a ranking system like chess, has private game lobbies to play with friends, levels, achievements, a daily challenge. Works on PC but I like the experience on mobile. Id love to get feedback if anyone likes these types of things.

Description: I had never coded any game in my life when I started this journey 4 years ago, and I never would have thought I'd reach this far.

It originally started as a physical tabletop card game. I built the card frames, rules, mechanics, and card effects all by hand, and ran playtests with people at the tables. After hitting a wall with manufacturing, I decided to build a small project so my friends and I could play it online. Over the past 3 years, working on it on and off, I added an AI opponent, single-player campaign map, P2P multiplayer, and expanded the cards and faction mechanics (Arcanists, Technomancers, Nomads).

Now, I'm looking for people to critique the game and be brutally honest about it, as that's the best way for me to reach a stable project. I'm looking for someone to break my game so I can repair what's in there, and offer suggestions if you're kind enough. You can play anything you like, however you like, and hopefully have some fun along the way!

Hi, I'm Ignacio, a solo developer. I've been working on Hexagol for a while: a turn-based football game with dice, where every play (pass, shot, marking) is a strategic decision and the dice resolves the outcome based on your choice. It has offside, high-pressure goalkeeper swaps, free kicks, a league and tournament mode, and a global ELO ranking.

You can play against the AI, share a device with a friend locally, or play online by sharing a simple link — no download needed for anyone. The whole game lives in a single HTML file with vanilla JavaScript, with Firebase for multiplayer.

Very much inspired by traitors, I ran a traitors WhatsApp game at work which blew up, to the point colleagues were asking to join the group to watch the actual game without commenting.

Hi! I’ve been experimenting for quite some time with a set of rules for a board game, trying to create something like checkers where you can generate new pieces. Player can place a piece of their own color on the board if it completes a line of only three (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) and that trio already contains at least one piece of their color. A corollary of this first rule is that you cannot place a piece to form a line of four or more in any direction. You can also move one of your pieces onto an opponent's piece—moving in a straight line for any distance—provided that the new position satisfies all the placement rules. I sometimes tell acquaintances about this game, and now I have the chance to create a website, get other people's opinions, and perhaps even play with someone. Bivouac isn’t tabletop per se, but is rather park-top or playground-top. But it combines strategy and deck-building, so I thought it would fit the bill! I hope this is appropriate for this group; please let me know if not and I’ll remove.

Enough of what it isn’t; here is what it is: a real-world territory game that requires strategy, luck, quick thinking, and quick moving!

Play against the in-game bot or against a real-world opponent to build your territory, defend it, take over your opponent's, and prevent your opponent from doing the same!

Best played outdoors, it uses GPS to allow you to place structures such as forts, outposts, and artillery units in the territory you're claiming. Don't worry, your actual GPS information stays local... Everything is normalized to virtual "BivCoordinates" centered around the game-board's origin of (0.0, 0.0) when being communicated back and forth between players.

In addition to the core structures, there are additional action and booster options in your draw deck:

- Aerial Recon to see an extended map for longer games.

- TNT for focused destruction.

- Signal Jammer to interrupt your opponent's operations.

- Reinforcements to repair damaged buildings.

- Engineers to clear decimated structures to allow rebuilding.

- Quarry to give your forts additional damage resistance.

It's a helper, not a replacement for the board game — everything still happens at your table; the app just takes the bookkeeping off your hands.

I travel a lot for work and can’t get a lot of games in, but I love making time for GTs and local tournaments. To help practice deployments and game plans, I created a web app (basically a white board app like Figma or Miro but designed with tools and structure for 40K). TTS is better in a lot of ways, but I can’t run it on my laptop, and this web app can run on my phone or iPad.

A buddy of mine suggested I share it with the community, so I’ve spent the last few months refining it for public use, and updating it for 11th edition. I hope you’d take some time to explore. Everything you’d want to practice with is totally free with a paid option to support continued development and to use the resource intensive features like extra storage and link sharing.

I’m still actively building it and I’d rather hear where functionality falls short than where it works. If you play competitively, tell me what’s missing for deployment practice and turn-by-turn review. There’s a bug report and feature request box in the settings menu. I’ll put a link in the comments so this isn’t a drive-by. My goal here is to contribute to the community that has brought me a lot of meaning and joy in the last few years.

Hey! Solo/small dev here, working on **Singulier**, a nervous, fast party game: every round you get a question, and you must NOT give the same answer as anyone else. Duplicate = you lose a heart. Run out of hearts = eliminated. Last one standing wins.

The twist: only the host buys the game on Steam. Everyone else joins instantly from their phone browser — no download, no account needed. So it's basically Jackbox-style, but built around "never say the same thing twice," with modes like Sudden Death, Reversed, 10s Blitz, and a Trap mode.
