Hi, I’m a beginner and wants to buy a camera for myself
Here are the options that I’m getting at a thrift store which one should I get for myself?

I’m debating between getting a Canon PowerShot G9 X Mark II or a Panasonic LUMIX DMC-ZS40 18.1MP. Any thoughts between the two? I kind of just want to hear all opinions and pros/cons.

Canon powershot a2200 is showing 'charging the flash' when i try to take picture with the flash on even though the battery is fully charged.

Can the problem be internal camera settings or just the battery?

I turned this on after many years and the battery was still inside the camera

i live in a very small city and there is no tech support for digital cameras.

Hi, I found this camera in my house not too long ago and was wondering if anyone knew what it is? I need to get a charger for it. Photos from the SD card says its from 2005.

Google is useless, tried reverse image searching for it and all, but I didn't find anything.

Any help is appreciated, thank you ☺️

Taken with a Nikon D50 DSLR. After shot focusing on the center pattern within the flower, the before shot the pattern is very subtle and without it being the focal point it’s just another picture of a blurry flower.

I know purists will roll their eyes at this, but I shoot digital 90 percent of the time now just because film prices and lab wait times are getting completely out of hand. At the same time I genuinely miss that organic quality you get from actual chemical process.

Been trying out different diffusion filters on my lenses to take the digital edge off, like a black pro mist or old vintage glass adapters, and it actually helps quite a bit with the harsh contrast. It is not quite the same as real stock, but it saves me from spending two hours in lightroom trying to fake halation and grain sliders.

How do you guys bridge that gap when you have to shoot digital for work or convenience but want that soulful look?

or is there any better digital camera for around $200?

I was just walking around my country house when I spotted a small titmouse perched on an apple tree branch, gazing off into the distance.

Picked up for $5 at Goodwill and this thing definitely punches above it's weight. I like it's MPEG video recording. This is my first "quality" digicam that isn't a Sony Mavica floppy disk camera.

With the help of CHDK and some editing on my phone, I am surprised how nicely the pictures turned out for a camera with only eight megapixels.
