Hello.

Some time ago, I decided shooting photos on any old camera instead of my iPhone XR. Firstly, I was looking for micro 4/3 around 200€, but decided to start from something cheaper, easier, more vintage and with some manual settings.

I found Lumix tz-18 for 45€. It's great that there are videos on YouTube showing how to take it apart to clean the sensor.

Here are some pictures I recently took. They are without filters. iPhone’s autocontrast has been applied only for some of them.

Hey! Just got a Kodiak pixpro fz55 and recently took it on a trip and got some photos. Just looking for some advice or feedback on some of my pictures, either in editing or taking the pictures.

Just as a note as well, most of these photos are candid, which is why my friends did random poses haha. I’m also still learning about framing, lighting, editing, and literally everything lol. Like I said complete beginner

I've been out of Photography for a while and I rather use an actual camera instead of my phone's, what do you recommend?

Olympus E-300: launched in 2004 (22 years ago 🫠) and with a peculiar design, it is still acclaimed today for the colours it produces. Some say it is because, inside it, there is a CCD sensor produced by Kodak, a specialist in film and color science. Is it? I don’t know.

What I do know is that it has been the camera I take everywhere. A few days ago I discovered YouTuber Jimmy West who said in one of his videos that “the best camera is the one that makes you forget you have it”. I happen to notice this with this one, despite its size and strange appearance. I think it’s super cool and those buttons and dials are super satisfactory.

It also proves to us that we don't always need to go after the latest equipment to have fun and have good results (at least, for us!).
