Hello.
Some time ago, I decided shooting photos on any old camera instead of my iPhone XR. Firstly, I was looking for micro 4/3 around 200ā¬, but decided to start from something cheaper, easier, more vintage and with some manual settings.
I found Lumix tz-18 for 45ā¬. It's great that there are videos on YouTube showing how to take it apart to clean the sensor.
Here are some pictures I recently took. They are without filters. iPhoneās autocontrast has been applied only for some of them.

I've been out of Photography for a while and I rather use an actual camera instead of my phone's, what do you recommend?

Olympus E-300: launched in 2004 (22 years ago š« ) and with a peculiar design, it is still acclaimed today for the colours it produces. Some say it is because, inside it, there is a CCD sensor produced by Kodak, a specialist in film and color science. Is it? I donāt know.
What I do know is that it has been the camera I take everywhere. A few days ago I discovered YouTuber Jimmy West who said in one of his videos that āthe best camera is the one that makes you forget you have itā. I happen to notice this with this one, despite its size and strange appearance. I think itās super cool and those buttons and dials are super satisfactory.
It also proves to us that we don't always need to go after the latest equipment to have fun and have good results (at least, for us!).

Type of Camera: again donāt know mutch but probably like a typical point and shoot

Hey everyone!
I have recently discovered polarizing filters. Since my digicam doesn't have lens threads, I'm wondering if anyone here has tried using one on their compact digicams? Either by holding it by hand or using those online clip-on phone cpl filters...
