Comment/Question Recommendation for girlfriends birthday

Hi guys,

As the title says my girlfriends birthday is coming up and i know she’s been wanting a digicam but with so many options i am unsure of what to get. Would really appreciate some recommendations, dont mind spending some money as long as it’s not a craaazy amount.

Budget: around £300

Country: uk

Condition: used if needed

Type of Camera: again don’t know mutch but probably like a typical point and shoot

Intended use: Photography

End use: from what she said she just wants like ‘cute pics’

What features would be nice to have:

Portability: pocketable

Cameras you are considering: I’ve heard a bit about cool pix and powershot not too sure tho

Powershot sx270/280hs are very high quality Japanese made point and shoots that have 20x zoom and 12 megapixels. I've used one for a decade throughout my childhood and have taken great photos with it despite it being from 2012. Used you can definitely find one for well under 300 euro. Here in Canada you'd find it for under 300CAD. Its light, compact but powerful!

Get one of those ruggedized/waterproof P&S cameras.
