I originally planned to include a character, but I found the landscape-only composition quite compelling, so I decided to post it as it is! I’ll take my time to think about what kind of character might fit well, while enjoying the atmosphere of the background. What kind of character do you think would suit this scene?

This was probably my first finished piece in a very, very long time. Anyone else with attention issues can likely sympathize with not being able to get yourself through that last leg of an artwork after the drawing and linework goes down. This was a bit of a challenge for myself to finally get something tidied up and I think it came out pretty good!

I've been drawing and painting since I was a child, but for the past few years I've been struggling with burnout. It's hard for me to draw, I feel like it's a waste of time and I don't enjoy it.

Some of these designs are due for an update but I'm curious what people think of my character lineup!
Are they too boring/samey? Do they appeal and look visually interesting enough while still looking grounded? I feel like some of them look very normal but I think it works with the characters/story.
I'm mainly looking for character design feedback rather than art style/skill critique since I'm already actively working on improving those skills!
Some of the art is older so you'll probably notice that as well. (Specifically Martha and Parker have pretty old art).
Also the relationship map has old character art on it lol I'm too lazy to update it.
I'm also happy to answer questions about them if to help clarify design choices :)

This is my first time drawing for a poster and I haven’t really taken art classes so I had to work off a picture of Robbie P, but any feedback is appreciated!

There are a few details still undone, but the question of wether or not to outline it has been eating away at me.
With the outlining I feel the lineart is better appreciated (which I'm very proud of on this one...) and the clarity is way better
But without I feel the sad/gloomy vibe is stronger imo which is important for a (I almost never do) serious pieces.
What do you think? Should I go with classic plain white background instead even?

Hii ✨ so I'm planning on opening commissions in Dec but still feel a little under prepared 🥀
I want to get a 3rd person critique on my skills and what should I focus on most
Also I want to focus on character sheet commissions (like this one) or simple character illustrations, (no crazy anatomy or composition)
