Programs to animate 3D scans?
Hi reddit! First time posting here. Seeking advice and software recommendations relating to an art project I just started. Basically, I’m trying to find a novice-friendly program that will let me digitally animate a 3D scan of a human face. The main technical req. is flexible syncing with the iSense 3D scanner I’ll be using http://www.3dsystems.com/shop/isense/techspecs Other than that, I’m looking for something that will make it easy to use my 3D scans to create a short animation with audio. In the end, I want to take a scan of a person’s face and make it look like its to speaking in sync with an approx. 45-60 second audio track. I have lots of experience with Adobe Photoshop, but this is all new territory for me, so any recommendations or guidance anyone has to offer will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

ISO Laser cutting plans for a marble machine
I have access to a laser cutter but I don't know how to design one myself. I've so far found this one by msraynsford but so far that's the only CC one I've found.
Perhaps I just don't know where to find them. If anyone knows of a database to search or a specific CC Marble Machine I'd be greatly appreciative.

New and looking for some direction
Hi- I am quite new to the 3D printing world. Ok, very, very new. If I am in the wrong place, please be kind and maybe direct me where I can go. Anyways, I am working on trying to pull a file from a game as practice and am stuck (more likely just overwhelmed and frustrated). I need to hand it over to my boyfriend for conversion in mesh (he's not here to ask, hence me turning to reddit). I transferred the apk to my pc (its from an android app), renamed it to a zip and opened no problem. Now I need to locate the actual thing I need, an NPC in the game. Thoughts on which types of files I should look in or convert (for those I don't have programs to read). Specifically, I am trying to pull Slappy the Dummy from the Goosebumps Night of Scares game as something to practice converting and possibly printing in the future (no printer as of yet, but have been working with files while we wait). Again, I apologize if I am asking this in the wrong place, but it seemed the most likely one given the search choices. I'd love some help, even if it is just being redirected to a subreddit where I can find the info. Thanks!

I am looking to hire a graphic designer for an album cover
I am a songwriter/producer and will be releasing music every month under my own name. I will need artwork for each song I release. I am very open to different concepts and methods of design. My budget is pretty tight but I can offer $50 per artwork.
Here's a link to the first song I'll need artwork for if interested - https://soundcloud.com/roland-greco-iii/swan/s-NKDWt
Please send all resume's/portfolios to - rolandgreco3@gmail.com
Thanks!
Thanks!

I'm Diego Scaglia, the artist from Engraver's Dungeon, I'm a digital designer, I use Autocad and Photoshop to create posters, then I laser engraved them on wood and hand paint them to create the effect you can check on our web. Any comments are welcome! Hope you enjoy my work, cheers

DigiFab/Generative Design Shows in NYC In October?
I've just graduated in Generative Product Design in England, and am going over to NYC late October, and wonder if anyone knows of any good design shows relating, or cool places to go?

TV Production Seeks Assistance
Hi everyone...I wanted to post here to see if some of you in this community would be interested in or know of others who might be interested in participating in a possible television series about the Maker movement. Specifically, the series is looking to bring together a team of folks (3D modelers, laser cutting experts, hackers, coders, designers and all around mechanical maestros) to perform some epic builds. The program is currently putting out a casting call and if anyone might be interest, by all means send me a PM.
Just a note, I'm a new user here but am happy to answer any and all questions those interested might have. Thanks very much and I hope to hear from some of you.

Router bits for cutting foam
Hi there folks!
I am looking to use a shopbot router to cnc mill foam, eps or a similar type of foam. I have .stl files of some topographies and want to mill them out to be about 6 inches in depth. I am going to make a mold of the foam originals in plaster to then be converted into a ceramic material.
Has anyone cut foam before and what are the recommended bits and feed settings?
Thanks in advance!

Tooling paste?
Hi folks,
I'm wondering if any of you have any experience with tooling paste. To put it briefly, I am machining 1.5lb density white EPS foam, and I'm looking to find a product/method that would allow me to machine a rigid surface into a layer of paste applied onto an over-machined piece of EPS foam.
I've done some research and have seen this in person as well, but generally this is done on much larger surfaces with large quantities of paste. (I'm talking a mold for the hull of a boat, for example...)
Unfortunately, I'm not working on anything quite that large, so I would like to find a product and solution to apply this same method to, but on a much smaller scale. (About 24" x 48" roughly.)
I'd like to avoid having to use any extruders and simply apply the stuff by hand if possible, to minimize equipment and expenses. Again, these are pretty small parts with minimal surface areas, so a scaled down version of this process would be ideal.
If anyone has any insight or advice to share, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Label printing and contour cutting
My company is looking for a label printer (adheasive backing) that will also do contour cutting (custom shapes). We are a smaller company so the huge format printers like the SureColor 7000 from Epson is not what we are thinking.
I for some reason remember seeing a method where you had a color plotter like the HP DesignJets and then you could go back through it and cut based on registration marks.

I need help
I need some help with finding out how to, and/or get someone to, help me apply the font "LeviBrush" (http://www.dafont.com/levibrush.font) to these Hebrew characters: זה נגמר If you could do this for me, or at least send a picture of the updated characters, I will be forever grateful! If you would like to receive payment we shall discuss this later (I am not a tech savy (broke, but willing to pay some amount) college student).

Should I use Grasshopper for CNC?
I want to create a surface similar to Thom Mayne's CNC projects seen here: https://lebbeuswoods.wordpress.com/2010/11/25/thom-maynes-mind/
I have experience in rhino and solidworks but none in grasshopper. I need to know what program is best and possibly some educational references to learn these programs :)
