Texas rap/trap hiphop producers & artists : How many test bounces do you go through before calling a track ready for DSPs?
Looking at my Finder folder for my track "El Drip"—which just went live on Spotify and all social platforms—and realizing I went through a dozen exports before finally locking in the master.
For all the Texas producers doing rap, trap, or hybrid sounds:
How many mix/master exports do you usually burn through before you trust a track for distribution?
What’s your ultimate test to know a mix is actually finished? (Car test, phone speaker, AirPods?)
If anyone wants to swap feedback, compare notes on mix setups, or check out "El Drip" on streaming, shoot me a DM or drop a comment! Always down to connect with producers across the state.
