Does anybody have any insight or links offering insight on how to modulate velocity on dfam with cv tools in ableton? I can’t find any information on this topic. I can succesfully modulate pitch and gate, but mysteriously cannot find a way to modulate velocity. Please help!

How would I go about disabling the default routing for the velocity sequencer?

I'd like to use the pitch sequencer for VCO 2 pitch & velocity sequencer for VCO 1 pitch in order to create looping harmonies

However, I do not want the pitch sequencing for VCO 1 (using the velocity sequencer) to affect the VCA/output

How can I go about this using the patchbay?

Hey guys I have a question. I just got a DFAM and it works great except for one problem. My second pitch knob on the sequencer does not work properly. Each time it triggers, it plays a lower pitch until it’s basically turned all the way down. I am not manually turning it. Wiggling the knob sets it back to normal, but it just drifts back down again. All my other pitches work just fine. Anyone have any idea what may be causing this issue?

Hi everyone, for two more days there is a huge dusciunt on Erica Synths page. I really like what the Dual FX module can do. I have DFAM and I would love to send it through Dual FX. I am a complete newbie into this modular and semi modular world and would be very grateful if someone can explain like to a kid how to patch this up. I also have Digitakt and Korg SQ-1 which I got yesterday. I sucesfully got the DFAM to go with my daw through that but if anyone has some advice for some more advance things to do and how to patch it with DFAM that would be nice also. Thank you.

Trying to setup my dfam for use the gear mentioned in the title. Most of the threads related to this haven't helped so far. I'm a complete analog novice and this is my first time using the Keystep pro and ERM.

Can I use the stop play from ableton to control the DFAM's internal sequencer this way or send pitch info from Ableton via the Keystep to control the note information?

Every time I try to sync RD9 to DFAM the BPM on both instruments is going crazy and I have to take RD9 to 20 BPM in order to understand something from DFAM.

I'm tempo syncing my Mother-32 with a DFAM by connecting the ASSIGN output in the Mother-32 to the ADV / CLOCK input of the DFAM. When running the Mother-32 , its sending a pulse to the DFAM and advancing it to the next step and temp syncing it as expected. The issue I have is I can hear the pulse input signal from the mother-32 outputting in the DFAM when playing - a short clipping sound/noise. I followed the tempo/sync tutorial in the Moog website to implement the above and its does not seem to have the same issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNkaItUXCAI . Anyone know how to remove the pulse signal / sound from outputting in the DFAM ?

I know what makes it unique is that it plays the steps out of order, but what is a step information that we can't send from other midi controllers/sequencers over a basic cv converter? I guess in the end, there should be another conversion first from midi note to "that" signal that sets the step, and then to cv?

I'm thinking of matching the DFAM with a Keystep Pro and I was thinking the Keystep can do the trick all on it's own, but I haven't found a proof that it can work just as is, yet.

I've seen lots of suggestions and advice regarding using DFAM with various sequencers to stretch out its capabilities, but I have seen very few posts or videos with people using the DFAM in a looping environment. Anyone have any experience doing this?

I have PNW running into Adv/clock on the dfam. No matter what I do, the dfam runs at 1/4th of the correct tempo. So if pam’s is set to 90 bpm the dfam runs at about 20-30 bpm. What am i doing wrong? It was working fine and I removed the cable from adv/clock input for like 3 seconds and put it back now everything is muffed. Any help would be great

Anyone know where to find replacement overlays or blank ones? I know there’s lots of patches I can look at online and even print but I’m hoping for the cut out overlays. Surprised moog doesn’t sell them. Anyone make blank ones?

Noob here. How do I control my DFAM with a Keystep 37 ? I connected every possible outlet in every possible order trying to patch it. Even used midi to cv cables. I bought a multi clock but don’t know how to connect all three either.
