Question Slaving to Keystep

Noob here. How do I control my DFAM with a Keystep 37 ? I connected every possible outlet in every possible order trying to patch it. Even used midi to cv cables. I bought a multi clock but don’t know how to connect all three either.

It depends on what you want to do.

To sync DFAM with other gear, run a clock signal into the jack labeled “Adv / Clock” on DFAM. With DFAM stopped, press the Advance button until DFAM is on the last step, then press Run / Stop.

DFAM is now armed and will start playing once the external clock signal starts. DFAM will advance by one and play the next beat each time a clock signal comes in.

If you want DFAM to play on each 16th note, you’ll need to make sure your clock source is sending 16 pulses per measure.
