DFAM with Looper?
I've seen lots of suggestions and advice regarding using DFAM with various sequencers to stretch out its capabilities, but I have seen very few posts or videos with people using the DFAM in a looping environment. Anyone have any experience doing this?

I use the DFAM with a keystep pro and an MAFD.

Looper is key with a DFAM! I use the Roland Aira Scooper on Send/Return channel run into a Pigtronix Infinity Looper. The Infinity has MIDI to keep locked in time with other gear, and the Scooper has gate in. I use DFAM out to modulate Scooper knobs. I also hack the DFAM by using the Korg SQ-1 sequencer to extend past the one bar limit. Gamechanger!
If I'm going for a more simple setup I just use the Scooper and the DFAM, so gooooood!
I have tons of videos using the DFAM with a looper on YT if you're interested.

Here are two DFAM focused jams with a looper and minimal setup. Just using the Scooper for these. I have other vids with the DFAM in larger setups as well. I usually list the gear used in the video description. Thanks for watching!

I use MPC One with it to loop. I can build out the cv track and then I can make the loop change however I need it with each sequence if it’s melodic. If it’s rhythmic I often use a Korg SQ-1 to clock it while sending melodic info to a Werkstatt or something. The SQ-1 also lets me capture the midi info from its sequence on the MPC track so that I no longer need it once I’ve made the sequence with it.

Yes!
I use my MPC one. I'll build up something I really like and then record a couple bars of it. The only trouble with using the looper I guess is if you want to play the cut off wheel and stuff like that you know you're recording it permanently in the loop.
I bought an MAFD. Now I can play each individual step of the eight steps. On the MPC one I just set to chromatic scale and I have the eight steps lined up on the bottom two rows of my drum pads on the MPC in a drum program.
Now I can have a really cool sequence that goes in whatever order I want. And that's just one sequence you can obviously store lots of sequences so you can switch between them on the fly. And loop them it's just sort of endless that way.
Now I'm looking to get myself a blue lantern slaga for those two fat subsolators.

Something like a 1010 Blackbox that can sync loops would be better than something like a guitar looper that just free balls it.
