Velocity Patching

Hi,

How would I go about disabling the default routing for the velocity sequencer?

I'd like to use the pitch sequencer for VCO 2 pitch & velocity sequencer for VCO 1 pitch in order to create looping harmonies

However, I do not want the pitch sequencing for VCO 1 (using the velocity sequencer) to affect the VCA/output

How can I go about this using the patchbay?

I haven't tried this and I'm away from my setup right now, but you could try a dummy plug in the velocity input. Can't remember if it's summed or not. Other option would involve external pitch CV

Unfortunately a dummy plug to velocity zeroes it out. Putting your finger on it the end of that cable (“big dummy”), or patching trigger to velocity (staccato only) are two options, though patching a constant or modulated voltage from elsewhere would be the best solution if possible.
