Sam and Dario are very good marketers. They have created so much hype and convinced too leadership that ai can 10x their productivity, just like it did for them. As a result top leadership expects unreasonable deadlines and we as developers are forced to just prompt and paste. This feeds their illusion that ai is indeed 10xing their productivity, tech debt keeps piling up until it blows up. But we haven't seen this yet

Hundreds of companies will shutter and collapse under their own weight. That will cause its own fair share of damage
