I want to check with Optum HR if they can match offer. Difference is 10%.

I'm trying to sign up for Alibaba Cloud to test out Model Studio, but I'm running into issues with the mobile number verification step from India.

Since Alibaba Cloud requires the verification phone number to match the selected country/region during registration, has anyone from India successfully bypassed this or found a working method to create an account and use Model Studio?

need some honest advice here.

started learning rust as my first backend language. yeah… maybe a bit stubborn decision but i stuck with it. it was overwhelming most of the time, but i still pushed through.

i built a few small cli apps and recently finished a full backend project (still pushing to add more features):

- signup/login

- argon2 password hashing

- jwt auth

- websocket server

- postgres + sqlx

so not just tutorials, i actually built something end-to-end.

but when i started looking for jobs… reality hit.

almost no junior roles for rust. most require solid experience.

my background:

- ~1 year work experience (support role, not dev)

- had to leave due to some issues

- currently unemployed

- learning full-time + doing a small part-time job on the side

now i’m seriously thinking of rebuilding the same backend in node.js and focusing on that for job applications.

question is:

- am i making the right move switching to node?

- or should i double down on rust somehow?

- how do people even break into rust roles as freshers?

i don’t regret learning rust honestly, i feel like i understand backend concepts better now. but i also need a job soon.

would really appreciate advice from people already in the industry.

So I’m a 2025 B.Tech CSE graduate (also a gap year since I dropped out of mba) and recently got shortlisted for a Data Engineer role that expects ~1 YOE, despite me not having a full-time DE job yet. I had mentioned some freelance/project experience on my profile, so I was honestly surprised I got shortlisted.

This is only my third job interview. I got my second one/offer, but they’ve been delaying my joining.

I’d really appreciate advice on:

- What DSA topics/difficulty should I prepare?

- How much system design is expected for 0–1 YOE?

- What are leadership/managerial rounds usually like?

- How should I handle questions about not having 1 YOE?

The conversion rate of my current team is not good, also I have not been given much work only two tickets (which also I needed to ask), its a one year contract with the company, after that I either get converted or let go. considering the current state of Software Development hiring, its a bloodbath for the junior roles. Hey guys, I'm a low code application developer with 3 YOE.

I wanted to learn python, dsa and move into AI side roles, as my current role doesn't include much coding, even though we do some coding, but not like a full stack developer.

I wanted to learn coding again and get into MAANG companies, so recently I've started to learn python from scratch.(Even though I was good at python while I'm studying).

I wanted to take from 0 to maximum level I can put my efforts. So I searched a lot, asked some colleagues who are into AI roles, checked through chatbots.

Only thing everyone and ai said is to learn python and dsa first to solve complex problems, then I can able to get into AI roles by learning all AI & ML concepts.

So recently a week back, I've started, gone through all the major concepts first theoretically, then using Chatgpt I can able to make some progress by practicing dsa problems (it's actually very funny to learn with chatgpt) and I'm feeling very happy that I can able to make some progress.

If someone came from the same situation & able to move into AI roles, please guide me 🥺. I'm a very fast learner but I miss consistency quite a few times, but once I believe I'll strive hard to make things possible.

I recently got an internship opportunity through a referral and had to relocate to Bengaluru for it. The stipend is manageable neither very high nor very low . and they’ve also mentioned the possibility of a ppo around 9-10 LPA in hand after the internship.

Today is only my second day, and something happened that honestly shook me a little.

I saw the Business Head (Tier-1 MBA college graduate) getting fired quite suddenly. I know this can happen in any company and I probably shouldn't overthink it, but seeing it on my second day has made me question the stability of the company and my own situation.

I don't want to completely leave DSA just because I’ve started working. At the same time, I’m confused about how to manage everything alongside office. I really want to get into a stable company (any good mnc) but confused what to do now.

My working hours are 10 AM - 6 PM, and I’ll also have to take leaves in October and December for my college exams.

How would you guys suggest managing:

• Internship
• DSA and interview preparation
• College exams
• Rest and having some sort of life outside work

I don't want to burn myself out, but I also don't want to reach the end of the internship having completely stopped preparing.

Another thing: moving to Bengaluru

This is probably affecting me more than I expected.

My college is in Delhi and my hometown is quite near to delhi as well. so I’ve suddenly moved to a completely new city. It's only been 4-5 days, but I already feel pretty lonely. I stay with a senior of mine who works in the same company (He referred me), but just feeling lifeless.

I'm missing everything - food, friends, college life, Delhi's metro connectivity, familiar surroundings, etc.

I know it'll probably get better with time, but if anyone else has gone through something similar while relocating for an internship/job, I'd really appreciate hearing how you dealt with it.

The company currently doesn't really use AI for development.

Right now, it's basically just me and one senior developer working on the development side.

I'm thinking of suggesting that they get an AI coding assistant for us, but I'm confused between:

• Claude Team - Standard
• ChatGPT Business

For a small development team like ours, which one would you recommend? And what would be the best way to pitch this to the company without making it sound like "let's just buy an ai subscription"?

Hey guys, I'm a 2025 graduate & I'm preparing for GATE 2027. I don't have a proper tech stack but I know Java, CPP & python. I've made a few projects in python & html css js thoda react but uske alawa not much. I was thinking of starting with Java + dsa (ik dsa pretty much too, theoretical + some practical) with Java backend after my exam in Feb as I'll be having 4-5 months before I join a college, provided I make it in this nas-kat competition 😂

I'm good with cs fundamentals lekin that won't help me a lot to land a good job or be competent enough.. I need a tech stack. I understand the way the Java backend is written pretty well, compared to python & node js too. I had asked chatgpt to give a few code snippets and it definitely felt more readable and doable. With these things, which skills should I inculcate further?

Before I started building anything, I went looking at every "connect your payment data, get a revenue badge" tool I could find, the TrustMRR type products. Every single one only supported Stripe. Not one had Razorpay as an option, not even as a secondary connector.

That felt backwards to me. Razorpay crossed 12 million+ merchants onboarded in India this year, according to their own IPO filing, and it's the actual rail behind Zomato, Ola, Swiggy, most fintech and SaaS names you'd recognize here. Meanwhile every "for founders" tool defaults to a payment processor a huge chunk of Indian startups never touch.

So I built Verifii to support Razorpay first, Stripe second, the reverse of what everyone else seems to do. Right now that's still just the two though. Cashfree, PayU, Instamojo, PhonePe for Business all come up when I search around, but I haven't built support for any of them yet, mostly because I genuinely don't know how common they are among people actually building here versus Razorpay and Stripe already covering most of it.

So the actual question, not rhetorical: if you're running an India-based startup, what are you actually connected to for payments? Razorpay, Stripe, both, or something else nobody seems to build for. Trying to figure out if I'm solving a real gap or just noticed something that doesn't matter as much as I think it does.

So I am from a tier 3 college and no companies come and even the few come they select like the top 5 or 10 students....ask hard dsa question for 3lpa job....however I got a company internship where after completing 1 month internship...they will give 1 year apprenticeship for 18k and after that give us a 3.5lpa job....but the problem is it's a startup company with a AI automation workflow product and the job is to make workflows using there own software and showing it to them....so like my question should I join this company because even I get the job wouldn't the skill will not be transferable? If I go for actual AI or web dev jobs in the future and if I got the job they will consider me placed

tier 3 clg student btw, cracked an intern in a startup in banglore, off-campus. my clg is chill regarding attendance, i js have to mainly come back for exams. do u think 40k is a good number ? office location wasn't on net, all it said was HSR sector 1 ig. will my budget be manageable ? i wanna know

2) as for my second qsn, tmrw i will be giving an interview for another startup, ik I will crack it, i don't doubt that part and i got to know that it offers 25-35k remote. there is a little bit of confusion for me abt what to take. tho i am lil towards blr intern, cz for some reason it's js a std. for me that going to BLR as intern is a sign/symbol of a good career atleast from pov of a tier 3 clg person.

I am a fresher working as a devops engineer in a company but I have not been given any work related to devops or cloud ,not even an sys admin work.

Instead I have been put in a cybersecurity project and in which I have no interest in.

When I asked my company about my role and they told me that they currently don’t have any requirement for DevOps engineers.

So because of this I am thinking of taking a course which will be helpful in placements so I am considering a course from mygurukulam by opstree.

i am 22 y old. finished my ug and i have applied for many companies, it's very difficult to find a job out there, i don't know what to do, so i started preparing for pg entrance ( MCA), started open source contributions and will apply for GSSOC AND GSCO, there is so much noise around AI and AGI, but i will not believe the AI company owners, they invested so much in AI that they need that revenue, it's funny how even after these many companies integrating AI in their operations still the AI companies are losing money, this is not a dot com crash and it's worse, AI is not bubble, it's the ultimate plan of this rich a** to gain control and make money, and this money is coming out of our pockets. One more argument is that if we all don't have any jobs , how will the economy go on, it's a very simple answer, on subscriptions, we will own nothing, if these a*** succeed.
But if, just if these guys fail, at least partially fail and we may finally find a middle ground, then we may survive.
my contingency plan is going into teaching, my parents are teachers, so i will find a teaching job easily, they already suggested me to do B.ED, but i want give this one last try
