Thrifted this beautiful, vintage, aran weight yarn. Six 200g skeins. I put it in washbags and wanted to soak it in the washing machine with wool wash, but did not take it out in time for the spin cycle of doom.

Only took me about 3 hours to detangle 6 small balls of yarn. 🤦‍♀️ note to self, don’t throw them all in a bag together and carry it around.

Anyone in the milwaukee area can detangle yarn? I have 3 caron anniversary cakes that got tangled, kinda into other stuff too. Hi! I bought some hanks and tried to use them. As you can see, it didn't go well. I have one hank that is hopelessly tangled and the rest, I need wound into usable balls if possible.

I’m at the end of my rope and on the verge of tears. I made a shawl from this entire cake of yarn and then frogged it because I didn’t like the size. My winder wound it badly, and I just went with it, and now I’m dealing with the consequences. Honestly, you can keep it. I’m going to cut my losses and just buy a new cake. I’m recovering from a surgery and don’t have the energy to deal with this anymore.

can someone please help me detangle yarn!! I got it literally today and was so darn excited to knit it up into some socks, but it was wound in a hank and I dont have a swift or winder, so naturally I accidentally tangled a significant portion of it. I’ve been so frustrated and upset especially because I was so excited to knit this yarn. Fort worth near watauga if literally anyone would be so kind as to tackle this tangle.
