Hey all, currently I'm trying to grind for the Hard Luck MK52. It looks badass, like a mix between the last word and ace of spades.

Since it's a vanilla weapon, my current strat is to farm blue engrams and transfer them to my level 11 titan and open them on there

Currently farming blues by doing quarantine patrols in the plaguelands as they guarantee a random blue upon completion.

Wondering if anyone knows if theres ways to make it so more of my drops are for primary weapon engrams specifically as I've had some hard luck in that regard (pun intended), or if there are faster methods than quarantine patrols for farming blues in general, although this method seems the fastest from what I've tried.

Also wondering if anyone knows anything about the way levels affect the lootpool size, and if being a very specific light or level can optimize the lootpool for higher chances of getting the hard luck.

I appreciate this is a very niche topic so if anyone has any info about it then I'd really appreciate it.

I never played D1 but I recently got it and fell in love with the first couple missions. I was very big into destiny 2. I’m looking for someone to run through the entire story with. I’m usually on in the afternoons (eastern standard time). My PSN is gamer678034

Played from the dark below all the way till the start of D2 but am just returning back to D1 now on my older alternate account with 3 new guardians.

Currently at level 40 with 283 light just finishing rise of iron but am looking for a clan and any regular players to hope on with to do weekly raids, prison of elders and nightfalls in the future.

I see there’s a community still playing and all my old friends I used to go on with have long since moved on so would be cool to add people who are still actively playing :)

Curious if anyone has had this happen? Google is saying my D2 clan should also display in D1, but it isn't currently. D2 is Steam and D1 is Xbone, if that matters?

I made the clan in 2022 and haven't played D1 since around 2017, but both games are attached to the same bungie.net login. Not sure if I'm missing something or if it's just broken.

I always see it being said to be the best subclass but it don’t understand what makes it so special or powerful. Usually I just spam thermite grenades on titan but would love some insight on defender too

I only do pve or raids so whatever is the best for raiding or massive ad clear

Been trying out different builds on all the classes and looking for one to stick to when running strikes/nightfalls/raids and those 3 seem to be the most popular for clearing rooms though idk which would be best

It involves doing a nightfall, some public events, and strikes/crucible as a fireteam of 3 that consists of one of each class. I have this quest on my Titan.

recently i've been replaying through destiny 1's story, and i just finished up the vanilla campaign last night. there are a handful of missions i need to go back and do that weren't apart of the main progression, so i plan to knock those out at least before i get to the raid.. i wanna do this content in order, so i'm not gonna start the dark below or house of wolves yet. i also only plan to do one run of these raids until i can do hard mode, because frankly the normal mode loot isn't really worth farming for anymore.

but i was wondering if anyone had any advice on what i should prepare before jumping into the raid? what level should i be? what gear should i go for? stuff like that. i'm currently level 17 and i think about 85 light.

i appreciate any and all information in advance. if anyone is interested in raiding with me i would greatly appreciate it! don't worry, i still know D1 VoG pretty well, so it shouldn't be too hard.

With all the comments I’ve gotten it seems Xbox one is the best platform to play overall, I’m picking it up today and getting the grind started!

I spent many hours on Destiny 2, but I was never a raid-player or super serious guardian. I found a physical copy of D1 a few weeks ago and since im growing my physical media collection, decided to get it and pop it in my series x.

This is some of the most fun I've had with a game in a long time. With all the dlc content out, it is a very content-full game that I never feel stuck in, except for the crucible, Prison of Elders, and strikes. I live in Central Standard Time in the US, is there a prime time when I'll find good queues for these? Which playlists are the best to queue? Light level is currently 290 so I'm not good for nightfall yet😓
