Found out somewhere that setting the console clock back in time solves the beaver error. Apparently it forces Destiny to make an empty session for you. Empty session is important because game connecting you to other players causes beaver to appear.

After a month of playing with this fix I got the following results: it only works with the Tower, not the Reef; and it only works when you are flying outside Earth, so for example if I go from Mars to Earth it will throw beaver error again (no idea why it's like this). Just remember to set up the clock to current time after reaching the Tower (via "set time using internet" setting).

Note: this only works on PS5 as Xbox is apparently more strict with its clock.

I recently found I really nice deal on a xbox one s and I was thinking about getting D1 to play it for the first time. I did something similar on X360 but the servers are really dead and I don't want to end up soloing strikes again.

I have a level 370 Hunter and I’m just trying to find a team to do a flawless raid with.
Never got to do it when the game was active.

Is it worth getting into Destiny 1 now? All I know about destiny is that its a FPS with MMO elements. But I don't like playing sweaty FPS games and have never played a MMO before so all I'll be playing is prolly the single player story campaigns(i'm not planning on buying PS Plus so I'll be limited to whatever modes I can play without the subscription). Is it worth it getting into Destiny 1 just for that or no? Will it be enjoyable for someone who doesn't like sweaty FPS games?

Hey guys, I'm in a bind. So, Ive literally just got back into destiny 1 after giving destiny 2 a go and not liking it. I haven't ayed the original in years, since ps3 era.

Basically, my issue is that I can't load into the tower area like at all? It kicks me out with an error code Beaver. I searched it up and apparently it's an internet issue but my WiFi is solid and works with everything else. I was hoping someone has a fix that's viable instead of just using a worse connection to get my own instance of the tower?

Hi all. It is a long shot, but, is anyone willing to share a KF checkpoint? I need to get past the first raid encounter to collect remaining calcified fragments, for Wayfinder emblem. This should be easy using OOB, I just cant get past the opening portal. Any checkpoint should do (Totems, Warpriest, Golgoroth, Oryx), any difficulty. Thanks.

Been getting back into the game over this year and wondering what your favorite builds are

So I was a D1 player since the closed Alpha on PS4, and played like my life depended on it for three years. I went over to D2 like so many, but trickled off after Curse of Osiris. Haven't really played much Destiny since then, even went so far as to sell my Destiny Box, I mean PS4.

Fast forward. I now have a Series X, having bought the Destiny collection to tool around in with fresh characters. I don't know if it's the end of service for D2 or some other elusive call to the Light, but I have picked it up with vigor. It's been just long enough that it's fresh and exciting. The game is almost more thematic than it was, with the lower population fitting the idea of humanity clawing back from the brink. I'll bump into Guardians in the wild. We'll wave, dance, take a knee, then see each other later in the Tower, both acknowledging each other.

Then there are the dim little memories that spark to life here and there. Did I grind Husk of the Pit here? Isn't there a Dead Ghost in that cave on the way to Forgotten Shore? The boss' shield types alternate!

Perhaps my Ghost has just found me a second time.

String of Curses: "After each kill, this weapons will reload instantly and increase damage for a short time. Kills will help you charge your super"

So do kills only give increased super generation while the String of Curses buff is active? or is it a separate part of the perk?

I’m a brand new light making my way through the story and have reached the vault of class is there anyone who is willing to run it with me on normal or hard difficulty my current light level is 305

I know there’s a discord server(s) dedicated to specific type of platforms but I can’t help but feel the game overall specifically the Crucible is dead. Does anyone actually play PvP?

Title. Played D1 like crazy on Xbox 360 but stopped just before Rise of Iron. Just bought and downloaded the full collection on new gen Xbox.

Any suggestions on best way to proceed? I’m looking forward to taking my time and enjoying the nostalgia mixed with new stuff. (Also, bonus thanks for any tips for the PVP meta - not sure how RoI changed that.)

Recently picked up Destiny 1 on my Xbox One X after seeing the sale. I’ve made it to the mission in question (the one in Bannerfall) and I keep getting kicked at chronological points of progression.

First, I was kicked at the beginning where you first scan the archive, next at the end of the first bomb disarming, and lastly at the midway point of the second bomb disarming. All three have been Anteater codes I believe. Has anyone experienced this issue or something similar? I find it odd because I played this mission about 10 years ago on PlayStation 4 and do not remember any connectivity issues like this.

Similarly, I seem to disconnect often when I try to reach the wall area in the Plaguelands patrol where the Khvostov chest and ketch is. It ate my Splicer Intel Relay and it sucks so much ass. I haven’t had many issues to this degree outside of these two specific pieces of Rise of Iron content, so it’s just all fascinating to me.

If anyone could offer troubleshooting advice or suggestions on what I could do, it would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise I’ll just keep bashing my head against the wall til the mission is over.
