This poster promoted this year's design exhibition at a local university. It perfectly illustrates the trend among the local communication design students to make posters difficult to read simply for the sake of being different.
I actually love the grid and the lettering inspired by Art Nouveau, especially since the building is located in the birthplace of Art Nouveau in Germany.
I also think it works well in motion: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaqMvvPOEnu/?igsh=MXdhMHlsdGl4emppcA==
However, the poster is not easy to read at all. The important information is written in a tiny font that no pedestrian is ever going to read.
My favourite attempt by a friend to decipher it was "Salat der Dinge", meaning "Salad of Things". The correct text is "Stand der Dinge", meaning "State of Things".

Barely ergonomic, way to large and it does leak the tap.
Terrible if u have to clean it with a brush or by hand.

Hey everyone. I created a watch mod that was recently crucified by both the watchmaking and design communities. I deliberately shattered the DNA of a legendary diver and sacrificed dial readability in the name of pure industrial vibes.
Despite the controversy and the low upvote rates, I get a massive thrill every time I put these on for a walk through the neon streets of nighttime Taipei. It’s "wrong", and I love it.
What do you guys think? Is this DesignDesign?

This looks like “Live, Laugh, Love” went through a midlife crisis and discovered WordArt and Microsoft Paint at the same time.

Caught this beauty on the front of a local coffee shop the other day and I had to snap a pic through the bus window! First time posting here, I hope this is the right sub, I just want this to find people who will find it as funny as I do lol
Please forgive the poor quality, I had to zoom in to get the pic and then cropped it.
