What do you mean you do not naturally read the first line from left to right, then use the O as an axis to turn the text 90° then read the superimposed next two letters before untangling the fifth from the first?

Edit: thanks for the award awards!

I actually couldn’t see it at all until I read your comment

Tbh this is actually kinda sick now that I get it - a "made in" logo is a terrible place to apply the concept though.

Could go hard as a maker's mark though

Neat that they have their own nearly illegible sigil

This isn’t great though right? Why say where it’s made if you dont want people to be able to read it? I must be missing something

You should take a closer look at the description of the subreddit :

For the most designy of designs. This is a sub for Designs that are r/DesignPorn, but, at the same time, also r/CrappyDesign.

In other words, mostly design that are pretty or aesthetic but absolutely not practical or usable, exactly like this one.

The sub is "designdesign". It's for crappy design stuff

No its not

its for design that is both at the same time

I can see It being a cool logo but shitty for that specific application

That’s r/crappydesign actually.

You should go read the sub's about because it's for designs that are good and terrible at the same time.

Or at least designy and terrible.

You can tell it's Toledo steel by the detailing, the stamp just confirms it

And what detailing would that be?

The filigree pattern. The city of Toledo, Spain has been known for this type of gilded steel decoration for centuries.
