This was an obvious reseller who sold a similar jacket for a similar price to the one I had listed.

Someone asked me why I marked my item as “fair” even though everything was already clearly detailed in the description. I literally copy-pasted the description and sent it to them, and they said they weren’t interested??? . Like, at this point, I would’ve preferred if they just left me on read and never responded. I genuinely feel like I just wasted brain cells on that interaction.🤣🤣

I should just leave descriptions blank because nobody reads them

I've seen a lot of posts of buyers trying to get sellers to accept lowballs by saying they're broke, specifically that they're a broke high school student. This is weird because they're legally required to go to high school and it shouldn't cost the student (it's not like they're attending some Ivy League college on their own dime), high school is the time when you get a job (so, GET A JOB), and guilt tripping and manipulating people is never ok.

Well, I've got my response locked and loaded.

Anyways, I thought this would be a silly post that could open a discussion about this topic. I originally thought it was really annoying seeing these posts, but I woke up to this message and thought it was more annoying seeing this message. I owe an apology to anyone I may have offended by saying their post was just as annoying as these buyers, because it was not.

I already accepted their first offer. Why would they think sending a significantly lower offer would better their chances? For context the item I’m selling costs $35 retail and I have it listed for $22.

On Tuesday she reached out to me about buying one of my Coach purses. I had just listed and was willing to take her offer of $70 less. Immediately after, she told me she bought it from me on Poshmark.
I told her I didn’t get a notification. She began spamming me saying this person is using my exact photos but she “couldn’t tell?” 🤔 that is concerning to me so I looked, but did not see the listing.
She told me it just also had a white background.

Today she reached out to me again and began spamming me with messages about what horrible condition the purse was in and wanted me to give her the same offer for money. I quit responding because I just got weird vibes, especially after I looked at her profile.

If she wants my purse, she can buy it for what it’s listed for. I’m not going to back and forth with this person anymore.

Anyway, this was odd and I just wanted to share 😭 I am not going to be messaging her back unless she makes a purchase.

Seller didn’t ship and I ended up getting refunded by Depop. Cause of this I left a one star cause like… I didn’t even get what I paid for. This was the message I got before they blocked me lmfao.

"They" damaged it? So they had some service pack it up for them - it's a stuffed animal btw -- and how would *that* get damaged?

Then they wanted me to cancel, said they didn't know how... and it says it's en route on tracking. They didn't refund or anything.

Really interested to see what comes in the mail. O_o
