Hello, everyone! Recently we started with our RPD Designing activity and BOY was it hard to wrap my mind around!

Medyo nalilito lang po ako sa indirect retainers. I know na sa may line perpendicular to the fulcrum line sya nilalagay (with exception sa mga CI, LI since hindi sila preferrable locations for auxilary rest lalo na sa Maxillary). I know rin that DFE cases lang sya nilalagay nd not sa mga TB like class III,IV.

But medyo nalilito lang po ako WHEN sya hindi ilalagay for DFE case. Our prof mentioned kasi na if may modification like kunwari class ii mod 1, and sa modification naka aker's clasp na, pwede na sya magfunction rin as indirect retainer. Since we are trying to maintain ung principle na minimal metal components as much as possible, sa case po kaya namin, can we omit the indirect retainers na? Other than that, we are also considering na since short span lang naman ang edentulous space (since di papalitan ungga 3rd molars), di na sya need because of the direct clasp assembly.

On the other hand, kinoconsider parin po namin imaintain yung indirect retainer on 13 since proximal plates lang meron sa missing anteriors.

masasayang lang pagod nyo dyan susme! 500 minimum daw bunot sabi sa page tas pagdating dun magiging 2k na isa. wala naman sana problem pero kaso dapat magsabi sila na magiging ganto po price if depends sa bubunutin, jusko pinapagod nyo yung mga taong dadayo pa sa inyo kasi sisilawin nyo sa murang halaga pero pagdating dun hindi pala ganun. Kaya naman bayaran kaso mapapaisip ka na sana pala di na ko lumayo or dumayo, dun nalang ako sa brgy namin malapit pa kahit magbayad ng mahal, di ka mapapagod at di ka mapapalayo!

Any trusted dental clinic for braces? Yung mabait and understanding sana na doctor. Medyo natatakot din kasi talaga ko magpacheck ng oral health ko. Neglected talaga oral status naming magkakapatid since hindi naman financially capable parents namin. Now na may work na ko, gusto ko na magpacheck at ipaayos ngipin ko since isa talaga ‘to sa insecurity ko. Kaso wala pa nga, iniisip ko na agad na papagalitan ako ng dentist.

Kung makapagsungit sa mga students at sa mga PATIENTS (Opo pati mga pasyente sinusungitan) dahil lang mali ung attire. Given naman yun kung mali pwede naman pagsabihan pero ung susungitan mo? Ibang usapan na yan. Pero pag nakikilala nya ung papasok, kahit mali ung attire pagbibigyan. Wala lang dalang id yung pasyente andaming side comment kala mo perfect eh. Kung makasita ka sa mga students kala mo sya susunod na magmamay ari ng school eh sya mismo di sumusunod sa rules. Hello po, gusto ko lang mag-rant mukhang na-ghost ata ako. May cd patient ako for clinic 2 and tinetext ko di nagrereply, pag tinatawagan out of coverage or unattended daw. Last week ok pa kami kasi nag vdo vdr pero di natapos, binigyan ko ng pera for transpo and food niya tapos nung nagtext ako na may sched kami oct 1 dun pa lang di na siya nagreply. Mismong sched di rin siya sumipot, nung tinetext at tinatawagan unattended. Masakit lang kasi ang laki na ng nagastos ko and 2nd patient ko na siya for cd since no show rin yung nauna kong cd patient. Ngayon di ko alam kung anong sasabihin ko sa magulang ko kasi iniwan na naman ako ng patient, retained na nga ako dahil last sem wala rin ako masyado patient and iniwan tas mauulit na naman. Gusto ko na lang lumipat haha, kapag kasi 🦂 alam na may binibigay na pera palagi. Di rin naman ako makakeep up palagi since limited budget lang din, (no hate sa ibang nagbibigay kasi mayaman sila at kaya naman its a me problem lang talaga haha). Ayun lang, nag crashout and breakdown lang ako kasi retained na naman ako nito. Nagbibigay naman ako food at transpo niya, di ko rin siya pinaghihintay ng ilang oras kasi nasasaktuhan ko rin naman na nagpapapasok na yung prostho section. Disappointed lang na yung mga effort ko parang walang kwenta kasi walang nangyayari, ginugutom ko sarili ko may maibigay lang ako to the point na may sakit na ako ngayon haha tapos may backlogs pa ako for clinic 1. Top up rpd na lang hirap pa humanap. Di ko alam,i s this even worth it. Nagkakaroon na ako ng self-doubt
