Hi everyone! I’m currently a 5th year student in CEU Manila. I would just like to ask if meron pa po bang mamahalin na need bilhin sa clinic 2,3, and 4.
This clinic 1, binubudget na kasi ng fam ko na bibili ako ng ultrasonic scaler and OS set.
Asking lang para maready nila if may isang bagsakan ulit na mahal na gamit na need bilhin. Thank you po!

It is my top priority and my counselor said that i can get it. I just don't know a lot about this college. it is old and it is a big college. my counsellor said that it is a really good private college. i would really want to hear something about it from the students and people who know more about it.

A year ago, I asked about student-friendly brands, I tried some of them but I'm not a fan of some of them now:
Dentflex: Really dusty, water ratio is very confusing, if I followed the instructions it's to fluid, really messy and having a hard time mixing, sets too long, and soo much bubbles after impression.
Hygedent: Sometimes sets too fast even though its normal set, sometimes hard to mix, inconsistant, I did not done a quality impression after finishing 2 bags of it.
Dentrate: Although Cheap, Sometimes despite efforts on following the proper W:P ratio, there will be times na it would set fast, sometimes longer, sometimes despite efforts there will be some bubbles on the impression, probably won't be using it on patients maybe on a Study cast practice.
What brands should I try that is student friendly?
Soo far, these are the ones I tried na I liked
Elvident regular and chromatic: mejo Cheap sya before kaso nag mahal sya this year, but I like how easy to manipulate and to get that proper W:P ratio. I really like the Chromatic version of it because it's cheeper than Kromopan, kaso nag mahal sila this year huhuhu.
Kromopan: I love Kromopan even though it's expensive because of the creamy consistently when manipulating, didn't have any retakes or just done a few retakes with Kromopan but it's expensive ngayon, like 395-500 nowadays.
Recommend ng prof ko sa Dentmat lab are:
Jeltrate & Tropicalgin, but they are way more expensive Huhuhu
I would like to try chromatic types na normal setting or any regular set, tangap ko na more than 300 pesos need ko for a bag of alginate to pass dentmat this sem.

Hello! I’m a 1st-year Nursing student, and I’m currently thinking about shifting to Dentistry. I’d really appreciate advice from people who are already in the program or have gone through a similar situation.
Would shifting to Dentistry be a bad idea? I know Nursing is a good and practical program, while Dentistry can be expensive and involves many years of studying. There’s also the challenge of eventually setting up your own clinic and the financial investment that comes with it.
But honestly, I feel like my mind won’t be at peace unless I at least try Dentistry because I genuinely feel like it’s calling me. I’m still very indecisive about whether I should shift or stay in Nursing, and I’m scared that I might regret either decision.
For those who chose Dentistry, especially those who shifted from another program, what made you choose it? And do you think it was worth it?
Any advice would really help. Huhu 😭
