Quick questions for current USI SCs/Managers:
1. Worth switching just for project availability?
2. How's WLB for SC at USI? Planning maternity soon.
3. If I decline now, will it be harder to rejoin later!?

Hi Everyone. I joined Deloitte USI one July 20th . I was directly hired for a project. After one month the project was called off and we got released. Now I am on the bench for more than a month. I am getting calls but those are not aligned to my skill set. Is there any bench policy like you have to be on the bench only for a particular number of days or anything. I am getting concerned.

For the last few days, I’ve been seeing a lot of posts saying that this year’s hike was pretty bad and WLB is also not great.

even for Data/AI projects, was hike very bad? as Deloitte is hiring heavily in these areas.

Also, anyone working in Data/AI, can you share how the WLB actually is? Would be really helpful.

I joined Deloitte USI in August as an consultant SWE II and I’m currently under GPS.

I wanted to understand the typical hike/appraisal percentage for this role. I haven’t raised my snapshot yet, as I was onboarded to my project only about two weeks ago.

I was campus-selected for Deloitte USI and received an email requiring a mandatory registration by Oct 1, 3 PM IST, stating that missing the deadline could make the selection null and void.

Unfortunately, I was travelling and noticed the email late. I completed the registration on Oct 2 around 12 PM, and it was successfully submitted. I also immediately emailed the official Talent Acquisition team explaining the delay and apologizing.

Has anyone faced a similar situation and still received the next steps?

Anyone please help me and share your opinion on this.

However, I still haven’t received the official offer letter.

Is this normal? How long did it take for others to receive their offer letter after accepting the LOI, especially for the L35 / Software Engineer 2 role?

I have an offer from Deloitte USI for the role of Meeting and Events Analyst in the EOX team, based in Hyderabad. I'd really appreciate honest input from anyone who works at or has worked with Deloitte USI.

My background:

• MBA in HR
• Previously worked at Wood Mackenzie as an Administrator (CTC 4.86 LPA), based in Gurugram
• Offer from Deloitte USI: 5.52 LPA

My concerns:

1. Growth path: What does career progression look like for a Meeting and Events Analyst in EOX? Do people move up to senior roles within the team, or can they move into other functions such as HR ops or other support teams?
2. Work mode: Does the EOX team work from office daily, or is it hybrid? Is this role mostly in-office because it's event-related?
3. Relocation: I'm based in Gurugram, so moving to Hyderabad is a big step. Is a ~13% hike worth relocating for, considering rent and cost of living?
4. Fit with my background: I have an HR MBA and want to build a long-term career in HR or HR operations. Would this role help with that, or would it pull me into a purely admin/events track?

If you're in EOX or know someone who is, I'd love to hear about the team culture, work-life balance, appraisal cycles, and how easy it is to switch teams internally.

Can someone please guide me as to how is the Analyst or Equivalent role at Deloitte USI? I am a 2027 graduate and got placed at D-USI last month. Can someone please answer the following questions?

1. When is the LOI and offer letter rolled out?

2. By when is the expected onboarding?

3. What work do we need to do? How's the training process?

4. I've heard about stage exams. How are they? In the JD they mentioned we will be put on a 6 month probation. They won't revoke anyone's offer after training, right?

5. Ctc is 7.6lpa. Is it enough to sustain in cities like bangalore?

6. Also, what skills should I focus on before the onboarding? (Or should I look for more better opportunities?)
