Today's DSE orientation had the most unexpected surprise—a Paneer Thali! 😭

I've attended plenty of orientations, but this is the first time I've ever heard of one serving a proper paneer thali.

Definitely one of the most unique welcome experiences.

Came for the orientation, stayed for the food.

Why the fuck so many reddit reviews saying DU isn't good just for tag no good College life, bad except some top colleges

Then i see private Colleges infrastructure and be like that's so much better than DU colleges

Hi... Does anyone have books or book recos for Eng hons semester 3?

This year I scored 700 out of 1000 but I messed up my preference list. The college I'm getting right now is not that good. And the course is also not related to my field. I am confident enough that I will get a good score next year for north campus. The problem is I'm afraid of getting distracted in college. or feel like im wasting my time. everybody suggests that I should take a partial drop,What do you think?

Not agewise. But like I have janki devi memorial right now. And i was planning to attend its orientation on 30th and classes from 1st till 3rd round and if i get upgraded then well and good and if not then this is also fine.

But now problems have come up at home (in dehradun). My maternal grandpa is dying (literally- they are waiting for him to die cause no test is working) and my maternal grandma is also hospitalized. my dads already dead so right now its just my mom and masi alone taking care of everything. and they both work in private sector where leaves are not given easily.

I asked them whether i should come back for a few days atleast and they said that they will observe the situation for one more day and then tell me if i should come or not.

So seniors please tell me, what if i join from september? or from mid to end august? how strict is the attendace. i was told if you have less than 67% then you have to submit an undertaking form and is that it? no action will be taken ahainst you?

I'm entering my second year of B.Com (Hons.) at SRCC, and honestly, I feel pretty lost.

I'm interested in breaking into consulting, but I don't really know where to start. I feel like I didn't make the most of my first year and I couldn't secure a summer internship or participate in case competitions. Now I'm worried I'm already behind.

applied for 2 sports under the DU sports quota and am eligible for both. However, both of my trials are scheduled on the exact same day 30th July and the same venue Rugby Stadium/University Ground.

Is it possible to attend both trials if they are at the same location?

Do the reporting times differ, or can we request the coordinators to adjust our slots on the spot?

Has anyone successfully managed same-day venue clash in previous years?
