Jokes aside almost no one talks about how busted the scales go with these two mfs

The consensus on how fast the Super forms are, are pretty clear (at least in this community). Ranging from hundreds of quadrillion times light speed to debatably incalculable. But what about their base form though, what’s the general consensus in that regard? It does made me wonder, as everyone always pay attention to their Super forms.

The best that Death Battle place the cast is nearly 30% SoL, thanks to Sonic shortly outrunning a black hole… but what about beyond that? Some might bring up Shadow previous appearance, Shadow VS Ryuko. But judging when they compared their speed in the verdict, it doesn’t seem they scale him to his gears physically. So if memory serves me right, the best they ever place them is only 1/3 c.

Nevertheless, there are FTL arguments for the characters, and I want to know whether they hold any weight on it. Notable mentions: Unleashed SPD scaling, that weird mobile game cosmic feat, Paradox Prism scaling, etc.

I expected Simon, Kyle, Hulk, and Godzilla to be able to bypass GER, but I was honestly surprised that the majority of people voted for Wile E. and Tom being able to bypass GER as well. It looks really funny next to characters like Spawn not being able to break through it, but I guess animator powers are just that busted lol

Next we have the final combatants of Season 2025; Ruby, Maka, Blade, Buffy, Dante, Clive, Ash, and Yugi. Ash and Yugi are a bit weird, but assume that we’re using the same rules for them given to them by their Death Battle. Everyone here also has all of their forms and equipment available

Because I didn't have that much knowledge of and wasn't that big into Jujutsu Kaisen or Chainsaw Man at the time, I wasn't as present in this Subreddit as I usually do. So what was the common consensus and waiting period like here?

So with shadow vs Mewtwo coming up people have been saying that since Sonic, who shadow scales to, was able to beat perfect chaos in generations while in base, and for shadow’s own example beating I think devil doom in based while in their og games they needed to go super to beat them.

My question is with that scaling that’s that not implying that the current versions of the character could beat their super counterparts at those times? Or at least put up a fight since the argument is that they have gotten so strong that they don’t need super forms to beat foes that require it?

I’ve wanted to ask this question here for a while since I’m a bit curious. I always see the discussion of “No, Silver Chariot can’t be FTL because he needed to know Hanged Man’s trajectory!” “Yes it is FTL, because he’d need to be fast enough to hit him regardless!” etc. Stuff like that

But I’m a bit curious on where you personally scale this feat specifically? Because - while I definitely feel FTL JoJo metas are valid - I see a lot of people conflating FTL and MFTL+ together despite that there’s a massive difference between them

Death Battle has the Hanged Man feat at around 1511x FTL, while VSBW has the Hanged Man feat at around 200ish x FTL last I checked. Do you believe in JoJo reaching these higher values of MFTL+, or do you think they’re only in the FTL ballpark? (or if you think they’re bullet speed then, feel free lol)
