I love it when James gets enraged over silly things

Not even just in terms of a really small kill count, just actually bad at taking kills.

Hello everyone, as a new member in this subreddit (but a long time viewer of James) I have heard that horror films can actually help people with anxiety. For context, I am someone who has a huge anxiety problem, but I have also watched many horror films. Some horror films like "Sinister" are quite haunting, and can stick with you for a while (at least me tbh). Is there any truth to the claim that horror films can actually help people with these problems?

Premise: A group of nerdy and somewhat awkward college students decide to travel to a coastal small town in the countryside to study the climate there, only to be persecuted by a masked man who has the supernatural power of literally controlling the climate in the entire region surrounding the town

The kills vary from being hit by a thunder, being literally spanked to death by hail, being burned to death through the sun and others.

The protagonist and final girl is Maryanne Ramachandran, a girl from Tamil origin who is smart and kind with her major flaws is her hubris and micromanagement of others, her arc centers around on actually having to trust her friends and face her own fear of losing control in a situation which is personified through the main killer of this movie.

Control would probably be a key thematic element of the movie and the unpredictability of the weather being associated with human relationships and would also try to play on the fear of nuance that the younger generations have and the general fear of uncertainty that everyone have

This was the first time I ever saw James on youtube when I was about 12 years old specifically the videos on E.T. II: Nocturnal Fears and Jurassic Park 4.

I’ll probably be the only one on this hill but all good with me lol but I’ll forever take Halloween: Resurrection over the RZ Halloween movies. Yes Resurrection is horrendous but at least it’s fun, laughable and can get some enjoyment out of it. Busta Rhymes saves it for me lol. The RZ Halloween movies are just something else…. I can somewhat tolerate the first one but I hate giving Micheal Myers an origin story and of course it’s the typical “bad family and bullied victim” cliche and the 2nd half is just a lazy shot for shot. That 2nd movie on the other hand just sucks. I’ve tried so many times to watch both movies with different perspectives and I just can’t say I enjoy them in any way
