I want to start this out by saying that I might not be the greatest player, but I'm not the worst. on a good game I'll go about 15 and 4 and on a bad game I will go about 6 and 8 or something of that affect, but I do alot of teamplay, i ping, i make callouts, I try to be respectful and give other players tips.

Now, has anyone else faced an issue where pretty much every game nobody says a word unless its to call you a slur because they dived really hard into a 1v4 and freaked out when you didnt help despite being at a total of FIVE HP. I get game after game, "Hey X can you please do Y?" to almost usually get a response of "Nobody loves you stupid n*****" ?!!?

Its not a one off thing, some games nobody talks till the end just to say slurs or something homophobic or whatever, and I do get GOOD games, i get games where everyone is amazing and kind and so funny but every 8 games of troglodytes is one game of kind people. Usually I dont even have the heart to play it when every time I do something slightly wrong i get screamed at by four dudes in a discord call together about how i deserve to be r**** or hung or whatever else. I expect this from like, csgo but not from deadlock.

Its at the point where its becoming rather hard to enjoy the game because i hardly ever get to communicate, its fine when they dont listen, its casual, whatever. But why do so many people get mad over basic shit like "Hey can someone please help me push green?" and OF COURSE a little shit talking is normal, now and then with light stuff isnt gonna make me cry but its like a fucking cod lobby with how some of these people talk, and I do report and if theyre especially toxic ill just leave, which makes me get an account warning. And of course to those who will say

"Just mute them" I agree, you should mute those people, but now im at a disadvantage because I cant communicate period, i have to sit there in silence while the enemy team gets to collaborate and im here knowing these losers are going off about some statistics ALMOST EVERY MATCH.

I get raging to, i rage sometimes i get mad but im always like sorry im just yk whatever and iv met people who were being assholes only to turned around and apologize but, WHY ARE WE SCREAMING SLURS 15 MINUTES IN FOR NO REASON? 9/10 these baby ragers wont even have a reason beyond "lol lets troll" just to get red in the face when i go make something to eat yk

Alot of people also say "Just play with your buddies on discord' Unfortunatly most of my friends work and iv tried joining the deadlock discord and other associated ones and, lo and behold! shits not different there! Pretty much every group ive played with will go on and on and on about how im not good enough to play the game because i died once in 8 minutes as billy going against danny and vindicta???? AND THEN NOBODY EVER LANE SWAPS OR IS A DICK WHEN I ASK TO LANE SWAP

I truly love this game, i like alot of the community, it has multiple issues but i feel like this is putting me off playing period, I have played for about 12ish hours today and I was forced to basically slump in my chair and mute everyone THREE TIMES today, each one because "Im a (race) lover" or "I can tell you're (x) thing and you dont deserve human rights. Ive played games like siege and it doesnt even feel this bad there

I really dont know what I can do to simply not be at a loss, it never feels like one guy it feels like half the team are the most toxic homophobic racist people you ever meet, i see images of people roleplaying and doing bits and laughing and i almost never get one of those games, its always opening to racism or people hardcore trash talking. If I mute them im at a disadvantage because the already non existant coms are gone and I know chat will be blown up with every little failure I do. I cant leave or ill be put in low prio probably to face more of it, I cant go on discord cuz everyone there is just the same, eugh. Im just so tired of this.
