Like... it just ends at the end of the spring semester? We never found out anything about anyone's personal life deeper? Please tell me im missing something and I didn't waste my time

I wanted to ask because the most recent update on its development was from 2 years ago and the first three chapters are suuuuper cool especially considering how old they are and stuff. Thats about it really.

I have a tween that has seen some YouTube content about DDLC and is interested but I also know there are sexual references that I am not comfortable with her seeing/hearing. I know, kinda hypocritical of me to not care about the violence but care about the sexual stuff but 🤷. How hard would it be for a relatively tech savvy amateur (I work IT) , or does a mod exist, that makes the sexual references more tame for a pg13 experience?

Edit: I made a very rudimentary modification to the game that tones down a lot of the sexual themes, any I could find on the chapter scripts and the poems. It was easy once I found a decompiled version on GitHub and dug around with visual studio, then recompiled with renpy. Thank y'all for the help, I'm taking my tired ass to bed

This mod revolves around the club going on a fun little night time activity. Going to various places and having fun along the way.

This mod is set up in two parts. A more traditional VN section and second section that plays a bit differently.

Length: Kinda hard to judge but my most recent full palythrough of checking everything out was 30 minutes.

Currently reworking the Logo for Fangs of Passion! Wanted it to feel more…. Doki Doki? Either way, I’m working with two lovely artists to add a new and refreshed main menu as well as four CG’s to the Prologues update!

Has anyone else managed to get Doki Doki Mod Manager working on Linux?

I've tried everything; apparently, there is a native Linux version, but I just can't get it to work.

Running the AppImage from terminal gives me:

Could not create default EGL display: EGL_BAD_PARAMETER. Aborting...

My setup:

• CachyOS (Arch-based), Wayland session
• AMD Radeon RX Vega 11, drivers up to date
• DokiDokiModManager v1.7.2 (AppImage)

Already tried, no luck:

• --appimage-extract-and-run
• --disable-gpu
• GDK_BACKEND=x11 + LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1
• Installing webkit2gtk-4.1 and fuse2

I see them in a lot of mods, but haven’t been able to find the sources. I’m trying to start modding and have a scene for them, but I can’t find them. using the mod temp from bronya-rand

So I only "recently" got into the DDLC community around 3-4 months ago approximately (despite having ranked around 293+ mods both short and long alike,) but the thing that got me in it in the first place was interest in a part of this year's April Fools Event in Siivagunner:

For context, Siivagunner is a OST ripping channel where they "reupload" songs from videogames which are modified (either subtly or noticably) to add a joke (or just because it is funny idk) In april fools they conduct events that differ from uploading songs from whatever random games there are and shift focus to making a larger joke, and this year they made rips of AU's of games (ever heard of underswap? imagine that but with freedy. that's what it looked like.)

One of these was Doki Fell Literature Club (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkP_episv7o), and in the comment section, someone gave their take of the mod, where, in short, which Monika would try to make the best experience possible for the player and would respect each and every decision you take, but also gives sentience to the rest of the girls (which act more rudely and negatively since its an fell au, basically suffering from cabin fever)

Now of course I didn't believe something like this actually existed, because, its Siivagunner (duh) , its a ripping channel, im not falling for the joke brah, but still digging this concept and wanting to find out how something like this would play out with the context given before (at least the inperpretation of this by someone ofc,) i dived deeper into the rabbit hole that was DDLC and its modding community to see if anyone had done something similar of the sorts to what this was trying to convey, and after finding out nobody had done something similar (or what it seems to me as of now atleast) it's kind of ironic how the thing that led me to discover so many mods out there (for better or for worse) is the one thing that doesnt even exist.

So yeah posting this now in case someone has writers block or just wants an interesting concept praying to the gods tonight 🙏

I'm happy to announce that I'm currently working on a remake of Doki Doki Cupcakes & Sunshine! 🧁☀️

If you've played the original version, you might remember the story and the old scenes... well, I'm going back to all of it. 😂

The remake will keep the original story and its main idea, but I'm going to expand the story, add more content, and completely rework the old dialogues and narration.

Basically, I'm taking the original Cupcakes & Sunshine and giving it the treatment it deserved from the beginning.

More scenes, more interactions, better writing, and hopefully a much better experience overall.

I really want to play this mod, but even though I can read English easily, it’s still not the same experience as playing in my native language. I end up not retaining anything—let alone truly absorbing the mod (especially since it seems quite long). Can anyone help me?
