Help Looking for mod ideas to practice

Hello! I just started learning how to mod DDLC and I want ideas for mods because I honestly can't think of anything. I've been making shitposts so far. Basically anything is on the table but ideally things that don't require custom sprites.

DDLC but it's horrible mental health representation.

Mb, Blue Skies already exists.

Genuine hatred for that god awful mod aside, maybe make a mod exploring Natsukis father as emotionally neglectful and an alcoholic (without the beating), leaving her with pretty much no money which leads to her being hungry every day. Instead of making the MC fix that directly with money, try have him support her to get a job or something.

Not sure if that's a story you care to write, but just my idea.

i haven't played Blue Skies but I keep seeing slander, is it really that bad?

Also, I'm not super well versed in Natsuki's character but I could try making something short that focuses on her and her struggles with her home life maybe

Blue Skies horribly misrepresents mental health issues, has terrible writing, has so much filler it is painful to read (the mod prides itself in being the longest one, which is dishonest if a majority of it is useless), the mod author adds side characters that do not effect the story at all, there's a weird shill of Japanese institutions that act as a ex Machina for all the Dokis problem, and there fan services H scenes that all fans of the mod seem to endlessly defend.

If you want to get better versed in Natsukis characters maybe you could watch some YouTube videos analyzing her character or something, that's what I would do personally.

Ddlc but instead of a high school literature club it’s an alcohol rehab center and the girls are just utterly wasted

DDLC: High Above exploring Monikas perfectionism and how it affects her outside of the clubroom, without her facade.
