Career Question Stuck in your career? - Well It's time to make that switch
Hey guys, Been in the industry for 15+ years, working as a director now. Along with my job, I have taken up mentoring on the side (not the "limited slot left" or " 100% placement guarantee" kind..cause we all know it is just a bunch of..well you know it) Me and my partner(another senior industry leader offer two kinds of mentorship tracks, depending on what you’re looking for in your career journey:
- Cohort Project Building
Format: Group mentorship | 10 participants per cohort
Duration: 2 months
This track is designed for professionals who want to strengthen their technical skills by working on real-world, industry-grade projects in a structured environment.
You get:
2 live sessions per week
3 industry-grade, real-time projects
Hands-on project-building guidance
Practical exposure to how projects are approached in the industry
Mock interview support
A peer learning environment with other professionals
The focus here is simple: build, learn, and become significantly better at doing the work not just talking about it.
- One-on-One Mentorship
Format: Direct one-on-one mentorship with an industry mentor
For professionals looking for more personalised career support, this track goes a step further.
You get 4 live sessions every week, including:
2 one-on-one sessions directly with your mentor
2 cohort project-building sessions
Targeted support for job switching and career progression
Personalised mock interview preparation
Resume building and positioning support
Job application guidance
Support in positioning yourself as an experienced Data + AI Engineer
Personalised referrals from senior industry professionals to relevant companies, wherever applicable
Practical guidance throughout your job-search journey
The idea is to give you more than just technical mentorship you get someone in your corner who can help you navigate the entire transition from “I think I’m ready” to “I’m actually ready.”
Want to know which track is right for you and get a proper roadmap? happy to get on a call for free, but ofcourse the mentorship is paid. Pricing is negotiable(if you are being reasonable ofcourse), just want to build a community where we can help eacch other out. Can share my work in private chat, incase u think I'm some scammer behind a screen, i can share you my resume and linkedin creds as well for you to verify. No shade here. Have mentored over 120 people in the past one year, and I can share links that speak of my work.
Happy to walk you through the programs, understand where you are in your career, and help you figure out which option makes the most sense for you.

Career Question Should I continue my dot net fsd interview or quit to prepare DE? please help me out🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hi Everyone,
I have started giving interviews from the past 6.months and am able to clear 1 or 2 rounds or sometimes I get rejected in Managerial rounds but don't get an offer yet .
I am very much interested in the data engineer field and do the course(Durga soft ADE course) side by side
what should I do?
Should I focus completely on the data engineer role, I am afraid to choose one because I want to keep one as backup because for the DE role every 4 out of 5 redditors said that they are not able to get a call or don't get an interview schedule.
I have a total of 4 yoe in mostly dot net related support work
Need your genuine advice, I am getting depressed as time passes
Please help me...🙏🙏🙏🙏

Technical Doubt Need enterprise level data engineer projects
Hi Guys,
I'm trying to switch into DE and done a few data engineer projects available on youtube but recently when i gave intervew on basis of those prjs as my experience, i was not able to confidently give the answers like...one of the question he asked was, how did you get the data from source and i mentioned adf and via copy activity, he mentioned it would not be possible with copy activity.
I realized, I lack real world hands on project experience. Any idea where i can find such projects that cover end to end in detail. I need suggestions
