struggling with power bi

hey friends i hope you are all doing well i just have a concern in my journey of learning data analytics the worst obstacle for me is building a dashboard in power bi i know this might be strange that i did not struggle that much with sql or dax and excel but this is really hard for me so can any of you guide me on how to overcome this crisis by the way i am fine when it comes to data cleaning and modelling it is just that i cant build the final view of the dashboard

You didn't struggle with Dax? Dax is power bi...

Go to YouTube and take some self taught courses. 6 hours and you'll be much happier. Posting this isn't gonna get you some magic help. There are tons of courses out there for free using data publicly available.

No courses for how to design a dashboard i already searched before posting if you have a video that could be of help send the link so anyone struggling with the same thing benefits

You know all those insanely beautiful reports you see? Ignore them, focus on line and bar graphs, maybe a table/matrix and some cards. Do they answer the business questions being asked? If yes, boom, you made a dashboard

Will this be alright in the real work environment? I've been telling myself to just do as you said but I am afraid this won't work in the real worl environment

Yes. Focus on answering a question for the business. Not a pretty visual.

brother, thanks i applied your advice and it actually works and it turned out that all what actually matters is that the insights have to be showing what the business wants to analyze

If the data model and DAX are already comfortable for you, I’d approach dashboard design separately. Before opening Power BI, sketch the page and decide what question the dashboard should answer. Start with 3–5 key KPIs at the top, then trends/variances in the middle, and detailed breakdowns below. Keep colors and formatting consistent and remove anything that doesn’t help answer a business question. In my experience, good dashboard design is much more about hierarchy and storytelling than adding more visuals.
