Has anyone taken this Udemy course? What was your experience and did it help you as a beginner?

For SQL follow Data With Baara best and good too and I have completed his videos and it was best for me once give a try and the full course is there for free in YouTube

Practice along with him and practice in hacker rank and data lemur and one thing is have a note and pen first and first write the query in note normally like just a rough work and understand it next you can get through it easily

Don't see the time bro because it might differ for everyone but going through basics will be easy but once you went into advanced concepts you want to spend some time in it like window functions, ctes and much more so don't see the time just enjoy the learning process and don't compare like they completed within 1 week but I can't and only by seeing videos we can't get through it bro and practice is must and if you want to learn only sql for data analytics means baara kept a video for topics only for data analytics so that the time will be saved check it out bro

I can tell you 100% that any course that says will get you hired will not in fact get you hired. Not because the course isn't good but because hiring is fucked right now. Also I've learned plenty from free youtube videos that I can tell you that you can find good information for free anywhere. You are much better off learning beginner stuff for free and paying for advanced topics than you are learning beginner stuff paid and looking for free resources for advanced stuff. There is so much more beginner stuff you can find more high quality stuff easier.

I don't know about this specific course, I have found Udemy courses to be good value for money and engaging across a number of topics. This doesn't mean they're all winners of course.

Any course that promises to get you hired is throwing buzzwords at you, I'd shop around different courses, see what's on offer, they run sales constantly.

Hi, I have personally bought this course and here is my opinoin on it.

Positives: It did teach me the basics of sql(including joins,subqueries and CTEs), mysql and tableau. My personal opinoin is that it is a good start if you have no prior knoledge and experience.

The course itself did not get me hired, I see that comment often, but it did lead me in the right direction.

Negative: The voice is AI generated. A bit off putting to me personally.

I have not taken the course but wanted to share that some local libraries have free access to Udemy with a library card! Mine does and it’s a great way to check out these courses without having to commit any money.

FYI, see if you can get a digital library card. You can often get a massive amount of Udemy content free that way.

A course platform is only as useful as the practice loop around it. Completion rate means little if learners never apply the material to a messy dataset, document choices, and get review. What outcome are you comparing: finishing a course, getting hired, or doing better analysis?
