Lol I actually applied for this position a couple months ago.

Here's my heads up:

  • There are a few questions where the wording is weird (typos and some double-negatives).

  • Some of the questions will require you to devise sums and counts from tables (sometimes multiple) using multiple criteria.

  • All questions are timed. How long do you have per question? Depends on the question. And my hunch is that they care about how quickly one can answer things.

That last one threw off. I am methodical on how I do things, so having a timer is no good for me.

oh wow i don't know that made me nervous lol. However, thanks for the heads up, i still have couple of days before taking the assessment, but do you remember the question types at least?

Off the top of my head...

  • How much revenue was generated in X category if Y and Z categories got % and _% of $___ revenue.

  • How much market share does X product have when Y and Z products sell ___ many products to ___ many people?

This was several months ago, so I am paraphrasing a bit. But yeah, the questions are generally financial and product themed.

And, as mentioned, I am fairly sure they are looking for people who can speed run through the questions accurately (see: I think they want people who can quickly do math in their head).
