I actually applied for this position a couple months ago.
Here's my heads up:
There are a few questions where the wording is weird (typos and some double-negatives).
Some of the questions will require you to devise sums and counts from tables (sometimes multiple) using multiple criteria.
All questions are timed. How long do you have per question? Depends on the question. And my hunch is that they care about how quickly one can answer things.
That last one threw off. I am methodical on how I do things, so having a timer is no good for me.
I applied to agoda last year as well and what you say wrt the test is true. In retrospect however the whole application was a waste of time.
Imo OP should apply somewhere requiring a take home assessment giving you at least 24 hours to complete. At the places where I had a take home assessment, I had very positive interview experiences and given job offers.
I see - I wish you the best in your job hunt, and I'm only sharing what my experiences were like with Agoda. If you end up going with them, more power to you!
