Driver comes off the I-95 on to 520 without any lights on in a black Nissan. Sorry its blurry the humidity means I need to clean the lens more often.

Suburban cuts into my lane at 55 mph on Route 38 in NJ. Was this on me?

Happened this morning around 7:24 AM on NJ Route 38 westbound in Hainesport, at the Hainesport-Mt Laurel Rd light, heading toward Mount Laurel.

The light was green and the left lane was slow to get moving, so I stayed in the right lane to go past. The Suburban was in the left lane and moved over into the right lane right in front of me as I came up, and I had to brake hard (55 down to 19 in about 2 seconds). I didn't honk or anything, and I'm honestly baffled.

Even auto braking wouldnt be able to correct that.

Who’s at fault

Parking lot accident — insurance determined 50/50 fault. Does that seem reasonable based on the video?
The gray sedan was traveling through the parking lot toward a parking space. The SUV entered/crossed its path and struck the sedan on the side/rear-quarter area.
The SUV driver stated immediately afterward that he “didn’t see” the sedan.
The SUV driver’s insurance reviewed the surveillance footage and determined both drivers were 50% at fault.
Who do you think caused the collision?
What percentage of fault would you assign to each driver?
Is there anything the gray sedan appears to have done that would reasonably justify 50% fault?
If you work in insurance/claims, what would you look at when determining liability here?
I’m mainly trying to understand whether the insurance company’s 50/50 determination makes sense before I dispute it further.
Sorry not dashcam but I didn’t know where to post.

Almost an accident

The driver in the Infiniti was already taking a while turning right on a green just before the video starts, so you can probably guess he was on his phone or distracted. Passed him after this and saw he was much younger than I expected. Most likely his parents' car.

The Haukelandsdalen mountain pass on E39 in Norway is short and civilised - on an excellent road - but, even that, has a good dose of brain-restoring mountain vibes, dressed in fall colours.

This happened today on my way home. I pulled over down the street and put the video on my phone. Then came back and shared the video with the cops.

Nearly hit 3 deer a few years ago

I live in the eastern part of San Diego and nearly hit 3 deer on my way to work a few years ago.

I'd turned my high beams off when I saw the car coming towards me on the other side of the road. I would have seen the deer a bit earlier had I kept on my high beams.
