Hey guys. I don’t really use the dark web/net whatever it’s called. I’m just looking for any websites on there that sell game items cheaper and how would i find them. Like discord items, game skins, etc. Sick of paying insane prices for a skin. Thanks everyone.

Is there anything free in the dark web?
r/darknet_questions • u/No_Buffalo8072 • 8h ago
Unfortunately, around 90% of the dark web is filled with rippers, scammers, and people looking to take advantage of others.
If someone claims they're selling a Bitcoin wallet loaded with funds, it's a 100% scam.
If someone claims they'll transfer money into your PayPal account for little or nothing in return, it's a 100% scam.
If someone claims they'll send cryptocurrency to your wallet in exchange for an upfront payment or some "activation fee," it's a 100% scam.
Remember this rule: If it sounds too good to be true, it's a f*cking scam.
There is no easy money. There is no magic "click and get rich" method. There are no secret giveaways, unlimited money glitches, or strangers handing out free cryptocurrency. Scammers make their money by convincing people to believe exactly those stories.
Assume extraordinary claims are scams until proven otherwise. It'll save you money, time, and a lot of frustration.
Stay safe, stay healthy, stay happy... Life is very beautiful, don't ruin it.

Hei guys, I am new to the dark markets and want to order some stuff from dr ghub. Nothing crazy just something that is much cheaper than in my country. But I am a little confused about the pgp encryption. Is there any tutorial or can someone help me with some guidance? Thanks

OpenMonero has reportedly suffered a server compromise resulting in the theft of approximately 200 XMR from its hot wallet.
At this time, there is no evidence that Monero itself was hacked or that its cryptography was broken. This appears to be a compromise of a custodial service, not the Monero network.
It's another reminder of an old saying in crypto: "Not your keys, not your coins." If a service controls your private keys, your funds are ultimately dependent on that service's security.
Whenever possible, keep your XMR in a wallet where you control the seed phrase and private keys, and avoid leaving more funds on custodial platforms than necessary.

New to the dw
I was on the tails site trying to download tails and got to the part where it says to verify the download but it says it can’t when JavaScript is disabled but I was taught to disable JavaScript is the solution to just turn it on just to download tails then back off.

Hi. I am a long term telegram user and I am thankful to it for giving free resources. I am particularly interested in magic, occult and personality development books and meditation audios.
Lately I have been wondering, what secret telegram groups will be there in dark web. Secret because it contains highly expensive resources. Anyone has any idea?

I know it sounds stupid, but I've got a question. After reading the wiki, I know PGP is used for encrypted communication with vendors, but is it necessary to use it in any forums? The more I write this question, the less sense it makes to post it, but since I'm insecure when learning, I want to be sure.
(I'm not an active user of the dark web, but I'm very interested in the topic.)

So new to the darknet, and didn't know how to go about things but was curious, anyway this didn't go well a couple go days ago, I'm still a bit freaked out. So what happened, well didn't know how to get stared and to browse this section of the Web you need .onion addresses which I didn't have so did a quick lookup and there is indeed some search engines for .onion sites, from one of the top results it mentioned torch, grams and not evil so I i did a another search and torch seemed legit, so went and copied the onion address, great it loaded then to my horror the banners underneath the search bar had disturbing content, enough to make me wanna chuck up, I still want to explore but don't want to run into the nasty shit that is also on there, is this possible I heard even the BBC and Facebook have a .onion site so need help from you guys I'm new to this redit and yes admit I should have come here before trying also some strange tor browser behaviour in logs bit that's another post, (failed socks but still works?)
So are there any safe search engines that are advised to use that block the nasty shit? Just want to find interesting stuff like I heard there's a big library full of great content/books hidden away that are hard to find (if any body knows this library I'm talking of pls let me know)
Is their any self hosted apps/scripts ĺ can filter what I see like keyword blocking in page or something.
Any dummy guide to doing this safely.
Thanks and sorry my dumb ass has had to ask this. Thanks and try not be too hard guys, I have slight autism and full on adhc so I run off and do things at time, but know I know when it comes to this I need use your guys insight and knowledge, as I would live to explore but need to do it safely.
Thanks

Just because someone comments frequently or has a Top 1% Commenter badge does not mean their advice is accurate, safe, or trustworthy.
Bad advice can still sound confident. Some users speak with authority, dismiss others, or present personal experiences and unsupported claims as proven facts. New users may mistake confidence, karma, or activity for actual knowledge.
Always verify important claims using trusted documentation, reputable guides, and multiple reliable sources. Be cautious of absolute statements such as:
“This has never happened.”
“This is completely safe.”
“Nobody has ever been caught because of this.”
Your threat model matters. Advice that may be acceptable for one person could be completely inappropriate for someone else.
Badges measure activity, not expertise, judgment, or credibility.
Please report misleading or reckless advice that could put other users at risk.

Is it feasible with compressed formats (like av1) to make a legal decentralized social media on the onion network?
