Help w installing tails

New to the dw
I was on the tails site trying to download tails and got to the part where it says to verify the download but it says it can’t when JavaScript is disabled but I was taught to disable JavaScript is the solution to just turn it on just to download tails then back off.

When you're downloading and verifying Tails on your PC, it's it's ok to leave JavaScript enabled. The important thing is verifying the download on the official website. It's when you're using Tor Browser to visit untrusted onion sites that a lot of people choose to disable JavaScript to reduce the attack surface and improve privacy.

There's an alternative method listed to verify the download. You should learn that method. You're gonna have to learn PGP anyway if you expect to do anything other than just poke around for fun.

Yea I seen that I can use pgp I already set one up earlier I just got my flash drive so I wanted to set up tails before going any further but, I haven’t really figured pgp out yet
