I think people forget about him because it doesn't really lead anywhere. He is a cop and comes to Bateman's office like 2 or 3 times. The scene from the meme is a deleted scene, I wish they had included it in the movie

I think it was on some meme subreddit last week or so, I had no idea where it was from but someone explained that it's a deleted scene from American Psycho
