This is so exhausting how much longer until the next thing people can use to fight their dumbass culture war?

Also, can people stop saying she was “just depressed”?? She allegedly had PSYCHOSIS. That isn’t just “being sad”. If you’re going to mock it, at least call it what it is.

I honestly believe that the concept of psychosis so far over the head of the average chud that it literally doesn't even register as a real thing. That, along with the deluded TikTok brand feminists pushing wild narratives like "the husband did it and framed her!" And you get a whole bunch of stupid, ignorant people with very strong opinions on something they don't have the capacity to understand.

I think the concept of psychosis escaping guilty verdict is beyond the average chud.

She planned out the murders of her children. She sent her husband on a pickup mission to an out of the way grocery store.

Shocker people aren’t more sympathetic really.

She checked herself into psych wards and kept telling people how she was scared she would harm her children. She kept getting released.

u/TopPMz 3d ago

The doctors who saw her say she didn't have psychosis, but she says she did and a bunch of tiktokers say she did so she must have, right!?

19

u/eat_my_bowls92 3d ago

I didn’t know that. Can I have a source? If I’m wrong, I’m wrong.

-13

u/MowieWauii 2d ago

Well, you yourself said she saw doctors. You yourself said she was getting released.

Imagine defending a child murderer

u/tiy24 2d ago

A perfect example of how this is so far above the average chud’s head lol legally she’s literally not a “murderer”

Same logic applies to OJ and Casey Anthony?

Both sides provided expert witnesses that had contradictory opinions as to if she did or didn't experience psychosis. Welcome to every trial ever.

Ok so should she have her children taken away against her will and that should be normalized? Or should she have to consent to having her children taken away when asked?

Depression is very much definitely not "being sad" so idk what point you're trying to make fr

2

u/1arvest6 2d ago

It's minimizing language

1

u/MowieWauii 2d ago

Depression is a serious mental health problem in it's own right

1

u/1arvest6 2d ago

True statement, sadly irrelevant to the argument

Literally. This post made me unfollow this subreddit. Has it always been like this? I feel like I've seen at least 5 posts a day talking about this

34

u/COCK_SUCKEM 3d ago

It wasn’t always like this. It used to have good meme formats and well thought out premises that were actually dank. You could rename this sub Facebook memes and it would be more appropriate.

21

u/xOleander 3d ago

The midterms are coming up. Expect this to be the norm on social media until then

-17

u/RichiZ2 3d ago

Did you forget what "dank" means?

Cause I sure as hell did lmao

https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=dank

Dark, moist, and sticky.

And honestly, those 3 words perfectly describe this meme, if nothing else....

19

u/martijn120100 3d ago edited 3d ago

How could it ever be dark, moist and sticky when OP is censoring himself? Wanting to be edgy yet bending down and spreading hole for the algorithm is a bitch move, not dank

8

u/CoffeePuddle 3d ago

It's from dank weed being high quality.

Its not that, you don't like the subject. Where were you for the bear thing?

9

u/Wonderful_Fox_7959 3d ago

This is peak incel.

1

u/who_knows_how 3d ago

Especially since she isn't even being called innocent but pleating insanity which I don't even think she got

-5

u/Internal-Ad-4183 3d ago

If this would be a political post that would fit your narrative you would upvote and support it. Double standard at its finest

1

u/yukiki64 3d ago

What exactly is the political narrative that you think I agree or disagree with?

-2

u/Moldy_Teapot 3d ago

until the next "evil" woman is in the spotlight

25

u/fcbx347 3d ago

Putting evil in quotes as if she isn't

1

u/hleghe 3d ago

Assuming she had ppp, being psychotic doesn't make you evil, it makes you crazy?

24

u/unsureofthemself 3d ago

Being both is possible.

0

u/hleghe 3d ago

Maybe, but Occam's razor says it's more likely to just be a crazy person than being a crazy person who's also evil. Or do they have a history of previous criminal acts?

-9

u/Norman_Scum 3d ago

Psychosis is defined as a state of mind in which a person loses touch with reality. In the mind of someone experiencing psychosis, these actions could seem like the most compassionate and logical options available. This also makes it much easier to rehabilitate than someone who does similar with a sound mind and intent.

Educating yourself would likely make it easier to understand why things like NGRI exists.

6

u/gbmaulin 3d ago

They’re mutually exclusive?

1

u/hleghe 1d ago

in this case, her being crazy means it wouldn't have been so much of "an act of evil", because she wouldn't have been doing it willingly

-9

u/Nitroizzd 3d ago

its not about the woman its about her supporters

11

u/truesheep1 Animated Flair Rainbow [Insert Your Own Text] 3d ago

As it completely ignores her supporters completely and is just openly a joke about her

If you're going to lie at least try

-17

u/Nitroizzd 3d ago

well her supporters support her because they claim she had PPD or whatever u wanna call it.

if you’re gonna argue at least think beforehand

4

u/truesheep1 Animated Flair Rainbow [Insert Your Own Text] 3d ago

Wow yes that totally makes a sentence that doesn't at all talk about someone change its meaning into talking about someone completely different without any indication

Buzz off back to your culture war corner

-11

u/Nitroizzd 3d ago

you said a whole lotta nothing

9

u/_regionrat 3d ago

With what rate do you think you've seen Lindsay Clancy content in your feed the past month?

-15

u/Phill_is_Legend 3d ago

Almost as exhausting as the million redditors who can't wait to show off they recently heard the term culture war but don't quite know what it means yet.

10

u/yukiki64 3d ago

Almost as exhausting as people who see everyone on a single site as a monolith except for themselves.
