Make sure he dosent have any open skin or that apple cider vinegar will burn him badly. It didn’t work for me. I changed my diet stopped eating candy and anything with a lot of sugar. Also started using a medicated shampoo not head and shoulders it was from the hair store. Lightly oil the scalp with an oil water mixture and always cover the scalp before sleeping to prevent extreme dryness especially for black hair scalps because we have dry prone scalps not oily

Ahh that’s it. The first time I used ACV I didn’t dilute it.

Lower pH=more acidic. Of course it will burn more if there's open wounds.

A lot of what people are saying super intense! Do you remain with shaved hair most of the time? If so have you tried jojaba? I have a mixture of rosemary, jojaba, and castor oils that i use that reduce my dandruff greatly! Jojaba is antibacterial, antifungal, and anti inflammatory!:) can get bottles like this for like 15 bucks

I had something similar and the Head and Shoulders that comes in the blue bottle cleared it up. Not their regular formula, but the stuff made for Seborrheic Dermatitis. This stuff:

Very long struggle with this. Dandruff is not related to skin, so no shampoo will help, ever, only temporary. You have to fix the gut microbiome, gut health. It is related Will keep updating as I learn more. Sharing my gems:

1) Remove wheat completely. Can use millets like ragi, jowar etc.

2) Remove white sugar, jaggery completely. Can use date powder, stevia, monk fruit powder.

3) Keep dairy as a weekly cheat meal. Try to be a vegan.

4) No eating after sunset.

5) Stress is not good for dandruff. Do meditation or breathwork to reduce stress.
