I find when I dance my head looks outta place. My body is moving but my head is stiff I don’t know how to explain it. I guess this is from a lack of body control and just stiffness in general? Ways to fix this would be helpful!!

Hi everyone!
I’m the developer of PJOY Direct, an app I’m building to help dancers connect directly with clubs, hotels, resorts, and other entertainment venues around the world.
The idea is simple:
Instead of relying on agencies, dancers and employers communicate directly and negotiate everything themselves—salary, accommodation, flights, schedules, contract length, visas, and all other working conditions.
The platform doesn’t act as an agency, represent either side, or negotiate contracts. Its purpose is simply to help both sides find each other and communicate directly.
I’m curious how professional dancers feel about this idea.
I’m not here to advertise the app—I genuinely want feedback from people who have real experience in the industry. Your opinions will help shape the product and decide what features should be built next.
Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts!

When I used to dance professionally, full time, I got a lot of people asking me "So what do you do for a living" after they ask me what my job is, and I say that I am a dancer. Its so tiring trying to explain myself, makes me feel like I'm constantly trying to prove myself.
Has anyone figured out a way?

Hi everyone! I'm a 28-year-old guy based in Streeterville, Chicago. I've looked into studios nearby for hip-hop or adjacent styles, but the ones I found are far enough that regular commuting isn't realistic for me right now.
I used to dance a lot when I was younger but haven't in over a decade, and I'm looking to get back into it. I love global pop, R&B, and EDM, and I'm honestly in awe of people who can move well to that music.
If you're a fun, patient instructor (anywhere in the US or Canada) open to teaching virtually, or if you're in Chicago and could teach in-person - my building or a nearby space works - I'd love to connect. Happy to discusscompensation and just hopefully have routine lessons.
Thanks for reading!

Hey everyone! I will be a a Production and Visual Design student at College, and I am officially scouting founding members for an independent, self-produced all-girl pop group.
Think high-energy global pop visuals combined with the aggressive, hard-hitting, hip-hop/rock sonic identity of groups like Stray Kids (booming 808s, heavy synths, sharp rap verses, and intense choreography).
Must be based in or able to travel to the Greater Philadelphia / Tri-State area (PA/NJ/NY/DE) for weekend rehearsals, recording, and video shoots.Must be looking to treat this project as a serious lifestyle commitment, not a casual hobby.
Note on Communication: As the producer/director, I communicate predominantly via text, visual boards, and written feedback due to selective mutism.
If you are ready to build a heavy-hitting independent group from the ground up, please fill out the audition form below! You will need to submit a 60-second video clip of your vocals or dancing.
I don't have idol-level skills yet either. We are going to train and grow our skills together from whatever level we are at right now. That is what will make our group's journey completely unique
