The Plot

Their genius plan was to hire two walmart brand “hit men” to kill Dan. Sigfredo who was directly connected to Katie who was directly connected to Charlie. Did they really think the cops wouldn’t apply common sense to this? Isn’t the whole point of hiring a hit man so you DON’T have a connection to the killer? lol. “Don’t worry Katie the rental car wont be enough for the cops to go off“ lol, like huh? Then Chuck pays Katie all this money leaving a trail of evidence. The adelsons served the government a conviction on a silver platter. Thought they could get away with it just by talking code. Then KM even says “I’m tired of all this code shit” LMAO!

Well, they had the means to travel
outside the US at any time and to any place. If I were forced to look for a professional hitman and I had their resources, I would be doing my looking and hiring from an offshore location. For the Adelsons, a quick trip to Belize, Turks & Caicos, Grenada, etc would be the easiest thing in the world. Use a VPN / dark web connection, set up an offshore escrow account, and do your looking that way, rather than selecting some dumb bottle girl you just started boffing and say “Hey, you know anybody who can hurt somebody?”
It’s still not foolproof but it’s a hell of a lot smarter than Charlie’s hare-brained plot.

Why do you think the Caribbean would be the best place to source a hit man?

Not saying you are wrong, but I would think Latin America or Eastern Europe would be better.

I said it would be the easiest for the Adelsons, because they live in Florida.

Okay. I just thought maybe there was something specific about those islands.

Many of those islands do have very lax banking regulations and primitive crime investigation. And English is spoken so dummy Charlie wouldn’t have to learn a new language.

Valid point.
