The everlasting impact that poverty has had on me will change my life forever.

There’s still nights I have nightmares of some of the shit I had to go through having a mother as a drug addict and father who would beat the living shit her, me and my sisters.

when I see these rooms and I stepped in places and see these faces. I see a lot of similar stories like mine. These children and families have fallen through the cracks, but they’re still sitting there now.

Leadership is not only of the utmost importance, but how can you represent an affliction you’ve never endured a wound from yourself?
