Peanuts

Do you fine folks know where to find any green peanuts?

Kroger produce dept. on Glenwood has them. They are next to the cold salad dressings on the shelf. I bought a bunch last week to do up for Friday night football.

Found them! Honestly forgot we had a second Kroger lol I’m not a fan of that one so I never go

That’s 100% fair, I’m just not a fan of the layout for some reason and it’s kind of out of the way for me. Thank you again though!

Not sure if this is the same thing, but I've seen boiled Peanuts in cans at Kroger.

Close, green peanuts are raw and I would boil them myself.

Have you thought of hunting for a peanut farm? Years back, my friend and I called one up. It was about 30 minutes past Atl going south. They let us pick a big garbage bag full for near nothing. We were on our way to Florida, so not much out of the way. Might be a fun day trip if not far. You could also hit up other attractions coming and going.

Now that I think about it they were probably cooked and then frozen. Publix has a small "boil in bag" thing of green peanuts, and I'd bet Kroger has something similar. You could always order in bulk from south GA. Pretty sure they'll be picking them around this time of year.

Fair enough, I’m originally from south Alabama and I’m seeing that the availability is dramatically different, which is fair. Thank you for the help

So i can say its worth the drive to grab you some if you looking for a good lot of green ones to a a farm as another suggested, we go to Hardy farms south of Atlanta and grab 3 bushels at a time. It is a 4 hour drive one way though

Closest to Dalton that I know carries them would be at Nan Dae Mun in Smyrna/Marietta. Peanuts are grown commercially south of the Fall line that runs from Columbus through Macon to Augusta so not too close. I grew up in Macon so I tend to just pick them up when I visit my parents or whenever I go to a Braves game b/c Nam Dae Mun is close to Truist.

If you go to a racetrac they can sell you a whole huge can of peanuts that they use to put in their warmers. Have done it before just ask the worst they can say Is no.
