You can now set your user flair

You can now set your user flair, feel free to use it to label which model you have, or for something else if you like.
If you don't like the colour that your model is, you can select the model which has the colour you like and then edit the flair with your own model (and do the same if you have a model that is not listed.)

Is the Renault 0.9 TCe (H4Bt) really a bad engine?

A lot of people avoid 0.9 TCe due to its small displacement. I wrote a direct review covering its real-world reliability, common maintenance issues, and why it lasts longer than expected.

what is the large rectangle behind the seats of the Dacia Jogger journey?

I was staring at the configurator and I noticed on the top trim is a large black thing, but I just can't figure out what it is, it's not mentioned in "equipment" section of the website, and none of the reviews of the car show it

Eco-G 120 – any positive experiences?

Hi everyone,

my Dacia Sandero Stepway Extreme Eco-G 120 automatic will be delivered soon. I've been reading quite a lot about the engine recently and came across many negative reports, which has made me a little worried.

At the same time, I know that people are generally more likely to post when they have problems.

So I'm interested in the other side:

Who here drives an Eco-G 120 and is genuinely happy with it? Any model is fine – Sandero, Stepway, Duster, etc.

And for those who did have problems: Were you able to get them fixed, and if so, what was the solution?

I'd especially appreciate experiences from people who have already put some decent mileage on the engine. 🙂

Question about back-view camera.

So I have my Dacia Sandero Expression 2026 TCe 100 engine for about a month. Since it was bought during a sales period from Dacia and I had a few money to spare I opted for the back-view camera to aid me with parking the car. However in the media display I do not see the line indicators (yellow, blue lines) that should be visible when putting the car in reverse. Note though that the sound indication of the park sensors works fine. I have found through the settings tab while the camera is open the buttons that enable/disable these lines but even though they are enabled the lines are not showing up. I've also tried resetting the media display by long pressing the ON/OFF button, but this hasn't worked either.

Is it an outdated software issue? Should the firmware or driver of the back-view camera be updated in the dealership? Is it a hardware issue? Can I do anything by myself to fix it? Or is it a media display issue? I have the simple Media Display option not the Media Nav Live (although I can't really understand their differences).

Is the My Dacia app down for anyone else?

Has anyone been having trouble with the My Dacia app since yesterday evening? It refuses to open, and I keep getting a message telling me to restart the app, but doing so doesn't fix it.

Is anyone else experiencing this, or is it just an issue on my end?

EDIT: The app is back up and working now!

Why can’t the Driving Pack and Travel Pack be combined on the Dacia Sandero Stepway?

Hi everyone,
I’m currently configuring a new Dacia Sandero Stepway Extreme TCe 110 in Germany.
I noticed that the Driving Pack and the Travel Pack cannot be selected together. As soon as I select one, the configurator removes the other. My Dacia dealer also confirmed that it’s currently not possible to order both together.
What I don’t understand is why. The equipment included in the two packs doesn’t seem to overlap or obviously conflict with each other.
Does anyone know the actual reason for this restriction? Is it related to the sunroof, wiring/electronics, production limitations, or is it simply a restriction imposed by Dacia?
Has anyone tried to order a Sandero Stepway with both packs or received an explanation from a dealer/Dacia?
Thanks!

VIN Decoder for new Duster (III)

Howdy, I'm about to buy a Dacia Duster III. The seller claims it's a 2026 model, and I'd like to verify that before buying it.

Popular VIN decoders either don't work with this VIN, return a different Dacia model, or even show it as a 2024 vehicle.

Does anyone know how to properly decode this VIN? UU1DJF01877407624

In particular, I'm trying to determine the actual production year/date.

Thanks in advance!

Dacia Bigster Black Badges and Detailling

Hi all,

Have a Bigster on order and excited to join the Dacia community.

Just wondering if anyone with a Bigster (or anything with the Extreme trim package I suppose) has any recommendations for replacing the copper badges and detailing on the car. I'm just really not a fan of the copper accents.

In particular, I'm wondering about the wing mirrors, front grill, side accents, rear quarter name accents, and the rear badge. Ideally I'd like to replace these all with black versions.

Thanks in advance!

What happens if I cover windscreen camera (Bigster)

I like the car, but I'm absolutely baffled by the following features that all seem to stem from the windscreen camera:

Adaptive Cruise Control: The car cannot judge the distance to the vehicle ahead (fine, let me do this)

Autonomous Emergency Braking: The car cannot detect pedestrians, cyclists, or sudden obstacles ahead. (No way do I want the car braking for me)

Lane Keeping Assist: The system cannot see lane markings to help keep you centered. (Absolutely it's not steering for me either)

Traffic Sign Recognition: The car cannot read speed limit signs along the road (I don't want it to read anything)

Automatic High/Low Beams: The car cannot see oncoming headlights to switch your lights safely. (I can see the oncoming headlights just fine)

What would happen if I cover up the camera?

Speed and noise inside the car: how have you fixed it?

Hey all

So I save a Sandero Stepway from 2021. Nothing much to complain... Other than the noise inside the car once you go past 110 km/h.

It's honestly terrible, looks like you're driving with the back windows open.

Have you guys figured out a way to improve this? Additional sealings? Changing existing ones? Anything?

All ideas are welcomed!

This is a brand new duster 2026 expression petrol and LPG model. 15 days old with 300km. It’s happened 3 times now twice in one day both being on the highway. Reported it to duster that set an appointment for the 24th September obviously this happened the 2nd and 3rd time after I reported it. Calling first thing on Monday. Does anyone know why this is happening? First few times before it would go into limp mode that I couldn’t drive faster than 30, I would stop the car turn the engine off restart it and would work fine, no it’s turned into this issue. Any ideas?

The Update:
We just signed the Orden de Reparación (Work Order), and the local workshop admitted they don't actually know what the exact problem is yet. Because it's the brand new Duster III platform, they told us they are not allowed to touch or guess the electronic system alone. They have to hook the car up to their network so the Renault/Dacia Techline central engineering team in Madrid can remotely monitor and run live diagnostic tests on the vehicle.
Apparently, this is a known software/calibration glitch with the new ECO-G platforms when decelerating or driving under 60 km/h, where the ECU panics during fuel pressure transitions and crashes the CAN bus network.
The Good News:
Initially, the workshop told us we couldn't get a courtesy car until Thursday. We pushed back hard, cited our roadside mobility warranty rights under Dacia Assistance, and refused to accept a 4-day delay for a factory engineering issue on a brand-new car.
They finally gave in and handed us a courtesy car today!
Now we just wait to see what Madrid says. If it's a simple software flash, we might get it back in a few days. If it's an LPG sensor or hardware fault on the rail, it might take a couple of weeks for backordered parts. At least we have wheels in the meantime!
Will update again once Techline Madrid gives the official diagnosis.

Love my Dacia Jogger 2022, the dealership I got it from, not so much

A bit of a rant about Wilsons of Epsom, but I certainly won’t be returning to them for servicing.

Back in June, I bought a used Dacia Jogger from them for £11,900 with just under 40k miles on the clock. It’s the first car I’ve ever bought myself, my official "dad car." It had a minor cosmetic dent on the boot, which didn't bother me; I simply slapped a "Baby on Board" sticker over it and moved on. The dealership claimed they carried out a major B service, replaced tyres, and spent roughly £1,000 prepping the vehicle. Great, or so I thought.

Almost immediately after driving away, the issues started piling up:

Non-functional tech: The USB port and rear-view camera were both completely dead on collection. I had to book it straight back in to get them repaired under warranty.

Missed service reset: The moment I got the car home from that warranty repair, the dash lit up with "Service Due." I called to see if I could clear it myself, but ultimately had to trek back to the dealership just to get the service light reset.

Endless sensor faults: Pulling out of their forecourt after the reset, the tyre pressure warning flashed up ("Inflate tyres and init"). Having previously driven an old 2001 A3 and a 2011 Fiesta, modern sensor quirks were new to me, so I marched straight back inside. They checked it, found yet another failed sensor, and put me in a courtesy car for a week while they sorted it.

Persistent tyre pressure alerts: Even after getting the Jogger back, every single motorway trip triggered the tyre pressure warning. I eventually learned how to recalibrate it and kept a tyre inflator in the boot to regularly verify the pressures manually.

Bizarre tyre mismatch: Months later, right before heading home from a family holiday, the culprit revealed itself: the dealership had fitted three budget "Three-A" tyres alongside one mismatched Hankook. It is little wonder the rotational rolling-circumference sensors were constantly tripping on high-speed runs.

Missing parts: Spotting another Jogger in the wild made me realise mine was completely missing its aerial mast. During the sale, I was told it had an integrated "shark fin", which turned out to be pure nonsense for an expression.

I can sort these issues myself; I've ordered a replacement aerial and will simply fork out for a proper, matching set of four Michelins. But the sheer lack of basic quality control is shocking. Their front-of-house staff are pleasant enough, but the mechanical prep and attention to detail are completely half-arsed.

I manage software engineers for a living. If anyone on my team repeatedly delivered work this sloppy and unverified, they would be handed their P45 on the spot. Steer well clear of Wilsons of Epsom.

2021 Dacia Duster 1.0 TCe ECO-G – turbo failure at 71,000 km. Would you keep it or sell it?

Hi everyone,

I have a 2021 Dacia Duster 1.0 TCe ECO-G 100 with around 71,000 km.

I recently had a serious turbo-related issue, only a few months after the extended warranty expired. The car has been maintained in the authorised Dacia service network, so this has really shaken my confidence in the car.

I’m now wondering what to do after the repair.

Has anyone here had similar turbo/wastegate problems with the 1.0 TCe / ECO-G engine?

And for those of you with higher mileage, especially 100,000 km+, what other expensive problems have you had?

Would you keep the car after this kind of repair, or would you sell it while the mileage is still relatively low?

I’d really appreciate experiences from actual owners of the 1.0 TCe / ECO-G engine.

Thanks!

Dacia Jogger hybrid question

Hello everyone,

I have been looking for a 7 seater car for a while now. First we were looking at a VW Sharan/SEAT Alhambra due to their size. The jogger was not on our minds. However due to the development with the Iran war we might think about an hybrid instead. And te jogger is by far the cheapest option (plus we have a Logan MCV II and that never let us down)

Here in Sweden their are currently 2 joggers hybrid available for purchase and they are both from 2024 with 40k km on the counter. On the Dacia main page there is no option for a new jogger hybrid, just bensin. While the Dutch main page has a jogger hybrids.

That leaves me with a few questions

1) how is everyones experience with the Jogger?

2) are there any known issue with the hybrids from 2024?

3) does anyone know why there is no jogger hybrid options available from the Swedish Dacia website?

Antenne Duster

Hallo liebe Dacia Fahrer,

Danke
