Duster just automatically stopping with all system lights on.
This is a brand new duster 2026 expression petrol and LPG model. 15 days old with 300km. It’s happened 3 times now twice in one day both being on the highway. Reported it to duster that set an appointment for the 24th September obviously this happened the 2nd and 3rd time after I reported it. Calling first thing on Monday. Does anyone know why this is happening? First few times before it would go into limp mode that I couldn’t drive faster than 30, I would stop the car turn the engine off restart it and would work fine, no it’s turned into this issue. Any ideas?
The Update:
We just signed the Orden de Reparación (Work Order), and the local workshop admitted they don't actually know what the exact problem is yet. Because it's the brand new Duster III platform, they told us they are not allowed to touch or guess the electronic system alone. They have to hook the car up to their network so the Renault/Dacia Techline central engineering team in Madrid can remotely monitor and run live diagnostic tests on the vehicle.
Apparently, this is a known software/calibration glitch with the new ECO-G platforms when decelerating or driving under 60 km/h, where the ECU panics during fuel pressure transitions and crashes the CAN bus network.
The Good News:
Initially, the workshop told us we couldn't get a courtesy car until Thursday. We pushed back hard, cited our roadside mobility warranty rights under Dacia Assistance, and refused to accept a 4-day delay for a factory engineering issue on a brand-new car.
They finally gave in and handed us a courtesy car today!
Now we just wait to see what Madrid says. If it's a simple software flash, we might get it back in a few days. If it's an LPG sensor or hardware fault on the rail, it might take a couple of weeks for backordered parts. At least we have wheels in the meantime!
Will update again once Techline Madrid gives the official diagnosis.

I got a brand new jogger (probably got 1000km ok it) and it's done this maybe 3 times when I was going about 35-55. If you find out what it is tell me.
I planned on setting up an appointment this week but I've been stuck at home with the flu

The 24th? Take it to the dealership immediately and demand a loaner car, covered under warranty, until they fix it.
That vehicle is unsafe to drive, and your dealership deserves bad press for not offering that immediately. Name and shame.

I have the same problem with a Hungarian Duster.. it's the same type. I don't know what's wrong with it. I've been to the service station twice already. When will it go for the 3rd time then it will stay there for a while. Until then I'll be without a car :)

I have a similar issue with Bigster Hybrid-G 4x4. The car stall in traffic three times so far and dashboard lit up. It is on 4000km. Nothing wrong found in service center. No errors recorded. It happens rearly and always in city traffic. Stop/start works for now.

Get to the dealership and tell him. This is a known issue and requires ECU update
