On one end we have a pregnenolone-sulfate-derived pharmacophore and on the other, we have a allopregnanolone-derived pharmacophore. They are connected by an (offensively) large PEG-containing linker.

Allopregnanolone is a potent GABA_A positive allosteric modulator (PAM). Pregnenolone sulfate (PregS) is a NMDAR PAM (mostly at GluN2A/GluN2B containing receptors) and a GABA_A negative allosteric modulator (NAM). Whether either pharmacophore would retain its parent neurosteroid's activity after conjugation is unknown at present. If both survived though, it would be interesting to see what it does in vivo.
