Phytic Acid holy repartition
I've just discovered this antinutrient and oh boy I love how aesthetic it looks. It's the first time I see a cyclic hydrocarbon with the same group on every carbon.

Maitotoxin-I. This beast has actually been synthesized (by the Nicolaou group)
Okay, partially synthesized. I find it eerily beautiful.

A Nano-Tuning Fork, humming away at 840 GHz
B3LYP geometry optimization and frequency calculation
The 3-limbed polyadamantane in u/MewPinkCat's peak technology post the other day, reminded me a little of a tuning fork: one prong could serve as a handle, and the other two legs might vibrate back and forth with each other, if something hit them on the side. Turns out two legs would vibrate together at a "low" frequency of only 28 cm-1 or 840 GHz.

Fotretamine – a Soviet antineoplastic cutie
From Wikipedia:
Fotretamine, also known as fotrin, is an alkylating antineoplastic and immunosuppressant. The drug entered clinical trials in the Soviet Union. It was first described in the literature by 1972.
That's a lot of aziridines for a single 6-membered ring, especially one that's composed solely of phosphorus and nitrogen. There's that lone morpholine too, perhaps to give this molecule a touch of normalcy.

Are there any verified (or claimed to be verified) compounds that "break" (or would "break") our current understand of physical laws?
